Former Blue Tamás Priskin completed his move to Russian second division leaders Alania Vladikavkaz yesterday, signing a three-and-a-half-year deal. The 25-year-old’s Town contract was terminated by mutual consent last month.
According to reports in Russia, The Hungarian international has spent the last few weeks on trial with Alania in Turkey before finally putting pen to paper yesterday.

Add to that Finidi's form before he went to the African Nations he was hardly a flop, in fact in hindsight, if he hadn't left for Africa we might well have had a different ending to our season.
Sereni was no flop either a very capable keeper who didn;t understand that here, in the UK, if you asked to be dropped, that's not good!!!
Many many bigger flops/worse players have graced PR over the year...Harbey, Bell and others.
he cost us the game when PJ put him on at home late in the second half recently - I'm pretty sure his subbing on was part of his exit deal he'd struck with Oly Clegg in order to trigger appearance bonuses
I think given the size of his price tag at the time, the size of his wages, his international pedigree and experience we all expected alot, lot more form Finidi. Aside from a handful of goals (the brace at Derby springs to mind) he contributed little and was easliy the laziest player i've ever seen pull n a Town shirt so he gets my vote!
Take your point on Sereni but given the price tag again i expected more. Played well up until being dropped....but what professional footballer and record signing asks to be dropped!!?
Harbey and Bell don't fit the 'recent' times list but granted they'd be in there.
Ulrich le Pen can't be included. Not sure injury on your debut counts although he must win the award for most expensive cost per minute played transfer ever only managing 12 minutes in a town shirt!
@Keanish Finidi George, Grant Leadbitter and Matteo Sereni should never be in that list. There are so many bigger "flops", Sam Parkin, Kevin Lisbie, Amir Karic, Georges Santos, Ivan Campo, Ivar Ingimarrson...
Legoman .. is it our fault that he has only managed 2 friendly goals in internationals in his last 27 appearances for Hungary since March 2007 as well ? And our fault he only managed 15 goals in 68 games for Watford before he signed for us ? "Sucked the life out of him" ...he was a very expensive panic signing because of a high profile cup goal for Watford and in his whole time here only managed the same stand out cup goal after missing 3 good chances in the game before that !! If he had anything about him and all his time in English football ,he would not be playing where he is now
@souperjim - but at what cost to the club? Agreed all those signings were dross and with the exception of Parkin i don't think we paid much in terms of cash for any of them but Sereni, George and Leadbitter all have failed to live up to very big price tags.
I'll never forget watching runners peel of Finidi George's shoulder countless number of times from throw ins because he was too lazy to track back and this far outweighs the few good goals he scored. Largely ineffective and on big wages and a big contract!
I'd argue that Leadbitter should be on this list. Can someone argue exactly what they think Leadbitter has brought to the side for the fee he commanded because i fail to see too many positives about his game.
Sereni had a good half a season (aside from dropping a clanger at Helsingborg). I'd expect more than that for the price tag and the wage demands.
@ - wherescounago - agreed. I always wanted Slater to do well but he flopped massively. Last I heard he was at Weston-super-mare prior to retirement!!
Never showed any Passion or desire to play for us. Undoubtably there is talent in there but needs a different attitude if he isnt to just fade into obscurity....if he already hasn't. Glad he's gone.
I remember going to Derby one august saturday in about 2003 and was horrified to see Tony Dinning lining up in our midfield ! Didn't even know we had signed him the day before ! He must be a contender?
