New signings Scott Loach and Massimo Luongo are included in tonight’s squad for the friendly at Cambridge United (KO 7.45pm), along with Lee Martin who has missed out so far due to a thigh injury. Aaron Cresswell and Damien Delaney are both in the squad despite being linked with moves to Aston Villa and Nottingham Forest respectively.

Martin told the club website that he has sat out the games up to now as a precaution: "I had a minor problem with my thigh, which forced me to miss the two games out in Holland.

"There was no point in risking it and making things worse. It just needed time to settle down."

Midfielder Ryan Stevenson is over his hamstring injury and is included in the party travelling to the Abbey Stadium.

Trialist winger Plaisir Bahamboula is not included and may well have left the club, while goalkeeper Marian Kello, who was with the Blues in Holland, is understood to have moved on after his scheduled week with Town.

If we are serious about a promotion challenge, would like to see us sign TWO new strikers. However, at this stage would take just one (as long as it's not Heskey). According to EADT's, ITFC have rubbished the Delaney / Forest link. They have not mentioned Cresswell.
