We need to absolutely spank Rotherham on Saturday
at 09:38 24 Oct 2016

Might put a tiny smile on the faces of the PR faithful and with the injuries coming back.... who knows.

Well we all know I guess, we will follow that up with a couple of 0-0s then lose to someone near the bottom and end up back in 17th.

I LOVE MY CLUB!

Cue the moaning about the location of the stadium from the town centre.

So no we only have room for Hoddles and Molbys in midfield, will we ever see poor old Lukey in a town shirt again?

We didn't sign a right back then?
at 08:18 1 Sep 2016

Never mind a giant up front, don't need one anymore as we are now a FOOTBALL team, but a ball playing right back would have been nice.

Anyway, we now have a very decent squad, so let's drop Berra and seal promotion!

Bishop for Bru

But otherwise unchanged for tomorrow then.

Happy with that, lets get out of the blocks like last weekend and give them a hiding.

Actually when did we last beat a side 4-0 +??

My thoughts on today.

Generally a decent performance, but a few players do need a rest. You can see some are trying to play the right way, but others have the hoof ingrained into them.

Murphy isolated, needs a partner.
Ward looks like a proper winger, great delivery.
Knudsen started poor, but improved, top finish on wrong foot.
Douglas had decent game.
Chambers was beaten too easily and doesn't want the ball anymore, so low on confidence.

Moment of the match was the great chest control from Webster, switch to Berra who smashed it out of play. The good and the bad of Ipswich summed up in one move.

Why no minutes silence/applause for Dalian?

Why no black arm bands?

Very poor.

Luke Varney on Wiki
at 12:30 12 Aug 2016

Which one of you lot wrote this -

"Varney can play as a winger or a centre forward. Not naturally gifted with the ball at his feet, and lacking a decent first touch, balance and the ability to finish, his style of play generally involves winning headers and hassling opposition defenders to create openings for his strike partner."

And yes I know its all true!
