Drury in for Murphy Against Derby
Tuesday, 23rd Oct 2012 18:55

Town boss Paul Jewell has made one change to his side for this evening’s game against his former club Derby County. Andy Drury comes into the midfield with Daryl Murphy dropping out of the 18.

Keeper Stephen Henderson and midfielder Nigel Reo-Coker are making their home debuts for the Blues. Full match preview here.

Drury looks likely to start in one of the wide roles with Lee Martin in the other and Jay Emmanuel-Thomas behind lone striker DJ Campbell.

Town: Henderson, Edwards, Chambers, Higginbotham, Cresswell, Drury, Reo-Coker, Wellens, Martin, Emmanuel-Thomas, Campbell. Subs: Loach, Smith, Chopra, Hyam, Mohsni, Carson, Scotland.

Derby: Legzdins, Brayford, Keogh, Buxton, O’Connor, Jacobs, Bryson, Coutts, Hughes, Robinson, Sammon. Subs: Deeney, Tyson, O’Brien, Bennett, Roberts, Freeman, B Davies.

So ignoring PJ on Saturday at Hull was a bad move by Darryl.

Its laughable and even if we loose that muppet will still be in charge with the backing of an even bigger muppet, save our club

Absolutly rubbishh ............ The lowest scoring team in the league and he has both chopra and scotland on the bench........... maybe if you play an attacking formation we might actually win.. play 1 up top is so negative its untrue,,, play 4-4-3 push martin and jet on with campbell might actually get some goals..................

4-4-3?? we'd beat most teams with that formation! Though the ref may have probs with it unless you're suggesting playing without a keeper rob. ;-)

I simply cannot understand how so many people on this website spell lose, loose.

Also why is Campbell playing? Start Chopra. And how is Drury on the wing?

I think we need help.

Really sick of this one-up-top formation, especially at home.

Is it just me or does this set up of players look like a half decent 4-3-3?

and yet again the midfeld changes...when does it ever stay the same?, when Jewel goes (if he ever does) i'd like to see Reo-Coker and Hyam in the center and Edwards pushed up to the right with maybe Drury on the left - Taylor behind either Chopra/Campbell, Hewitt can make a start at RB.

Seems to be doing ok but jewel needs to go. He is a dead man walking and Ipswich haven't been below championship level for over 50 years. We need someone who knows the clubs history in charge to keep us up. We need to be Playing tooth and nail.

Please please please Jewell , Clegg and to some extent Evans who must disillusional kindly leave our club, the tactics are spellbindingly awful , 2-1 at home to Derby , surely surely SURELY Jewell must see the light and leave .......sadly at the moment have lost all hope of the situation . Completely against my true feelings in some ways i am hoping we lose just so the whole catastrophe can be resolved.....Jewell you useless git please vacate !!!!!!
