Mo Better Blues Monday, 11th Nov 2013 10:13 Fans will have noticed boss Mick McCarthy and many of his back-to-winning-ways first-team squad looking more hirsute than usual in the last week or so. McCarthy, the players and some of the club’s off-field staff are taking part in this year’s Movember Challenge in partnership with Football League’s charity partner Prostate Cancer UK. The Blues manager, skipper Carlos Edwards, Luke Chambers, Tommy Smith, Cole Skuse, Daryl Murphy, David McGoldrick, Paul Anderson, Anthony Wordsworth, Luke Hyam, Jack Marriott, Mark Timlin, Michael Crowe and Jonny Leddy are all involved, as are non-footballing staff Theo Benneworth, James Hacker, Luke Hudson, Jonno Ogle, James Moss and Gary Richards. From November 1st until the end of the month those taking part will be eschewing their razors and growing either a beard or a moustache. Edwards said: "It's a bit of fun and a great way for us to join the ITFC office staff in trying to raise funds for this great cause and awareness of this life-threatening disease."
