Supporters Forum Notes
Friday, 3rd Jan 2014 10:01

The club has published notes from the November Supporters Forum on its website.

Town run a Supporters Forum on matchday lunchtimes several times over the course of the season, with the idea of getting fans' input and feedback on a wide range of non-playing issues.

Members include young and old, and people from each of the stands, plus representatives of the Official Supporters Club and the Supporters Trust, with volunteers sought at the start of each season.

The notes from the last meeting were published by the club in the Charlton programme, and can be accessed here.

Thanks for posting the link Phil.

As a member of the forum I will happily take any (sensible) questions along to the next meeting. I'll be sure to give plenty of notice.

The club take the views of the supporters very seriously and it's refreshing to have such an open line of communication.

"the Club website infrastructure is controlled by the Football League and although there was initially some negative reaction from supporters and understandably so, those concerns have disappeared over time."

They've not disappeared, people are just fed up of saying it. The official website is complete cowpat. I can't comment on whatever financial deal which means we're stuck with the provider, but surely it could redesigned, preferably by someone with eyes this time. I spend hours every day on the web, ITFC is one of my biggest interests, yet I very rarely use the official website because it is almost a complete waste of time. The layout is totally counter-intuitive, navigation is laughably poor and information is so hard to find you might as well not bother.
