Duo's Yeovil Exit Confirmed

Yeovil manager Gary Johnson has confirmed that reported Town targets Luke Ayling (pictured) and Byron Webster are leaving Huish Park with their contracts up this summer.
Johnson says the duo and goalkeeper Marek Stech, who had a trial with Town in 2011, have turned down offers of new terms with the Glovers, who have been relegated back to League One.
“We’ve tried to speak to either them or their agents and they won’t be coming back to Yeovil, so we’ve got to not have them in our thoughts and look to the next ones that we can give an opportunity to look to,” he told the Western Gazette.
We understand the Blues have been keeping tabs on the Glovers pair with right-back or midfielder Ayling of greater interest than centre-half Webster.
Newly-promoted Brentford are also believed to have been eyeing former Arsenal trainee Ayling, who at 22 would be subject to compensation, while Leeds are said to have been looking at 27-year-old Webster. Keeper Stech is expected to join Watford.
