McGoldrick Replaces Murphy
Saturday, 31st Jan 2015 14:29

David McGoldrick’s return from his knee injury in place of Daryl Murphy, who has a calf strain, is Town’s only change ahead of today’s game at home to Wigan.

McGoldrick, who has missed the last two games, is partnered by Noel Hunt with Freddie Sears on the bench.

Town: Bialkowski, Chambers (c), Mings, Berra, Smith, Skuse, Bru, Anderson, Tabb, McGoldrick, N Hunt. Subs: Kenny, Parr, S Hunt, Sears, Bishop, Clarke, Ambrose.

Wigan: Al Habsi, Taylor, McClean, Huws, Cowie, Perch (c), Barnett, Ridgewell, Fortune, Waghorn, Kvist. Subs: Carson, McKay, Boyce, Pearce, Kiernan, Cosgrove, Flores. Referee: Charles Breakspear (Surrey).

Contrary to the headline it's N Hunt who's in the Murphy role with no change in tactics. Not saying he's having a poor game but he ain't no Murphy. We are desperate for a change in tactics as well as personnel.
