Villa Linked With Mings and Bishop
Sunday, 29th Mar 2015 14:41

Town’s Tyrone Mings and Teddy Bishop are reportedly amongst a number of young English players on Aston Villa manager Tim Sherwood’s summer wish-list.

According to the Sun on Sunday, Sherwood will target the best homegrown youngsters in the close season with Mings, Bishop and Leeds pair Sam Byram and Lewis Cook amongst those he is keen on adding to his squad.

Mings, 22, who is contracted to Town until 2017, has been eyed by practically every Premier League club this season, while Bishop has similarly attracted interest since breaking into the first team early in the campaign.

The 18-year-old midfielder recently signed new terms until 2018 with an option for a further season.

They wouldn't want to drop down a league at this stage of their careers - surely?

Aston Villa, one of the biggest clubs in England with a proven track record of giving youth a chance. They'd be foolish not to go.

Players will always come and go but we will still support the club... It dont matter what money we get in for a player as so far MM has not spent a fortune, or not been allowed too? but who cares. Look at the history of this club and the players who have come and gone, some sold for loads of cash other given away but 1 thing remains and that is the club, the badge and the honour of being some of the best supporters in the land...

History check with transfer fees paid and received. For those dreamers who think our club is one of the galactico's and every player is worth gazillions....

Think Marcus Evans along with Mick McCarthy who Brian Klug says is involved in all aspects of the club unlike previously; are doing pretty well now after Marcus had several dodgy years when he didn't have a Manager of CEO he could rely on.
It shouldn't be forgotten that Mr Evans has already turned bids aside during the past year.
