U21s at Charlton
Monday, 2nd Nov 2015 11:11

Town’s U21s are in action away against Charlton at VCD Athletic’s ground, The Oakwood, in Crayford, Kent this afternoon (KO 1pm).

With the first team in action tomorrow there are unlikely to be many senior players involved, although Teddy Bishop could continue his comeback from shin splints and hamstring problems having played his first U21 match in a month as the young Blues lost 1-0 at home to Crystal Palace last Monday.

Definitely missing will be midfielder Andre Dozzell, who could be out for a couple of months with the ankle ligament injury he suffered in the game at Bristol City.

The 16-year-old has been forced to withdraw from the England U17s squad playing Germany in two friendlies later this month.

The Addicks currently lead the U21 Professional Development League Two South having won six of their last seven matches, while the Blues are down in ninth.

I'm going to stick my neck out and say we will lose.

At least Charlton are doing well with their under 21's. Real shame Andre is now injured.
