U18s Draw With Cambridge

Town’s U18s drew 1-1 with Cambridge United in a pre-season friendly at Playford Road this evening.

Midfielder Ross Meldrum, a second-year scholar, netted a late equaliser for the Blues in a game played over three thirds of 30 minutes. Spanish trialist Diego Centeno played the first 44 minutes.

Meanwhile, released midfielder Victor Guldbrandsen is on trial with HB KÃ¸ge, who play in the second tier back in his native Denmark.

Danish U18 international Guldbrandsen, 19, left the Blues at the end of last season after two years at the club.

Assume it was just a switch to everyone a run-out. Still no idea why I wrote Norway when I knew full well it was Denmark! I even looked up which tier they play at in Denmark.

That is an old photo but I think they wore the old kit again, they did on Friday at Southwold.
