ESPN: 72 Hours Until Kickoff
Thursday, 19th Jan 2017 15:20

ESPN spent three days at Portman Road in October looking at how the entire club, from players to manager and from coaching staff to stadium security, prepared for the match against Rotherham for a feature entitled 72 Hours Until Kickoff.

They spoke to manager Mick McCarthy, skipper Luke Chambers and MD Ian Milne but also plenty of other people around the club they prepared for the match.

You can find the full feature, which also includes an interview with McCarthy, here.

Great choice of game, one we set out not to lose for a change. Did they leave the place disheartened, infuriated and despairingly? if not maybe they should try spending a season here!

If this show is anything like the football we play, I think I'll give it a miss.

The show should be called "how to ruin a great club"

I can remember a similar programme, think it was on BBC2,when Sir Bobby was here;think that included a game when Town scored something like 7 goals against Southampton, and Alan Brazil got 4.

Bit of a contrast, what was the result against Rotherham?
