Leeds Match All-Ticket
Friday, 10th Feb 2017 12:40

Next Saturday’s home game against Leeds United has been designated an all-ticket match.

Match ticket sales are being restricted to fans who have bought a ticket at Portman Road within the last 10 seasons, although purchases of seats for previous games against Leeds do not qualify.

Tickets will be on sale to those who qualify via ITFC Direct up until kick-off via the Print at Home option and will be available in Planet Blue at Portman Road until 1.30pm on matchday, but none will be sold on the turnstiles.

I presume Leeds will want to bring more fans than the 2,000 we will offer them, so the club are trying to restrict the possibility of Leeds fans buying tickets in the home areas.
Just don't lock us in for 20 minutes afterwards, please.

Odd, I thought we'd be delighted with the increased attendance! More money for turnstile painting!

Police advice, I presume

Blatant discrimination against Leeds Fans. No other club goes through the level of security screening for just going to a football match.

You'd have been better allocating Leeds 5,000 Tickets then there would be no need for these draconian measures.

Because our ground is so full we have to do this now. Bet Milne is excited to paint the turnstiles again this year!

I suppose the club would have to fork out more in police costs?

Why the fu*k would I buy a ticket: -
a) the footballing spectacle will be 4m above the beloved grass
b) Leeds are the scum of the earth, last time I saw them they hung over the railings of the car park and abused my three young daughters while the very expensive police kept their hands down their pants playing with soft wood instead of offering some hard wood to the real c*cks bald heads.

Why don't the club just be done with home supporters and give the whole ground to Leeds. Obviously it won't be big enough for all of their 500,000 travelling supporters but at least we would make some more money

Fantastic decision.

No time for that " club " since the action of many of their " fans " the year we relegated them at Elland Road.

I was working in a city centre pub in Leeds that day and they smashed the place up. In the end we had the riot police coming in one end of the pub while the "fans" legged it out the other door. I have some good mates as well who are Leeds fans but the bad ones are scum.
