East Anglian Derby on Sky
Friday, 14th Dec 2018 16:20

Town’s East Anglian derby against Norwich City at Carrow Road on Sunday 10th February will be shown live on Sky Sports.

The game, which will remain a midday kick-off, will now not be made available to iFollow subscribers under EFL rules.

The teams drew 1-1 in this season’s Portman Road fixture in September with Gwion Edwards netting for the Blues.

Norwich will have imploded by then, whilst Ipswich will have exploded into life, so a mid-table clash.

Have to go now. Two blokes at the door. In white coats.

Excellent. We do tend to save our best performances for the sky cameras. Hoping game also is played week after international break coz we do play really well after international breaks. Oh and our record against Norwich bodes well.

Anything good on BBC at that time?

Ah sarcasm, the lowest form of wit.

I however thinks sarcasm requires a certain level of intelligence.

Well done norfstander for saying exactly what I was thinking and putting humour to it to take away, temporarily, the feeling of dread, that usually comes with t.v appearances.

Humiliation in front of the nation.

Think we've gone past TV humiliation.....sadly, it comes up with the rations. Much worse is when the nation lets out a collective sigh of sympathy, whilst saying ‘Poor Ipswich, weren't they once a football club?”

Come on, let's shock the nation, the media, pessimistic supporters and the training ground cat and dish out a sound beating come that day in February. Keep believing. COYB!

Likely to be the last meeting between the two clubs for many years? Yet another humiliation to add to the growing heap of humiliations at our door.

Think we have gone past humiliation, and that is just the way things are.

Reckon it'll be another 2-0. They'll score 2 goals and then allow us to play the ball around knowing we have next to nothing to offer up front. Fans will then go on and on about how well we played, forgetting that we lost the game.

Deja Vu.

Hopefully be higher than them in the table by then.

April 2009 since Ipswich beat Norwich, coming up to a decade. Lose this one and can add a few years to that horrific record. See yet another humiliation ahead. Oh dear. Not again.
