Boots2Africa at Open Day
Wednesday, 24th Jul 2019 11:02

Local charity Boots2Africa will be returning to Portman Road for Thursday’s Open Day with their bootbin at the SLO hub in the FanZone.

In just short of three seasons Boots2Africa have received and delivered more than 11,500 donated pairs of boots and 28,500 kits to children and players in schools, sports clubs and communities in 14 African countries.

As in previous seasons in which Town fans donated more than 500 pairs of boots and countless kits, fans are again invited to have a good rummage at home or at your grassroots club and donate your preloved boots and kits on the day.

If you can’t make it, Boots2Africa will also be attending numerous home matches this season and SLO Liz Edwards will have the bootbin available at every home match of the season.

Email Boots2Africa via info@boots2Africa.co.uk if you'd like to get involved in collections or donations, their website can be found here, while they can be followed on Twitter here, @Boots2Africa, are on Facebook here and have a YouTube channel.
