Fans' Forum Event Streamed Live
Wednesday, 28th Jul 2021 16:57

Thursday’s fans’ forum event where manager Paul Cook, CEO Mark Ashton and chairman Mike O’Leary will answer questions from fans is being streamed live by the club on its YouTube channel.

More than 100 invited supporters will be at the event in the Sir Bobby Robson Suite with matchday PA announcer Stephen Foster hosting. It kicks off at 6.30pm and will last for an hour.

“We will be holding fans’ forums regularly through the season,” Ashton told the club site. “We want that interaction with our supporters.

“We want their feedback. You will see our players and staff out in the community, supporting the work of the club and local charities.

“Our investors are very big on that. Ipswich Town will be a club of the local people; you can be rest assured of that.”

Who'd have thought of doing this?! It's like we didn't have the Internet when Evans was here 😂

This is a good idea. I'll certainly be watching.

I'm generally very happy so far with the direction of travel. Was a bit gutted about Gibbs going but that's water under the bridge now.
I also wasn't sure about the U23 stunt as I thought the following:
A) you simply reduce the market value of players like Downes and Jackson.
B) I was desperate for Dobra to stay. I also wanted Woolfenden to stay. I was also keen on Gibbs and Baggott to get first team chances. Well as it's since turned out I've got 2 out of 4 so far so that's not bad!
We needed a big clear out and that's what we've got so onwards and upwards!

Could anybody ask tonight about Zanda Siziba please? I'm keen to know if he's on Paul Cook's radar already. I think he looks a really decent prospect.

Midfielder Zanda Siziba netted all five goals as a Town U18s side featuring a number of overage players beat Cambridge United 5-4 in a pre-season friendly this morning. 17
