I really think that the club have messed-up here!
There was a great chance to win lots of fans over and to tempt fans who'd been thinking of going but have stayed away due to cost of tickets and possibly been put off with how the club is now acting.
Yes there are costs when having a game on BUT a great percentage of the supports who go week in week out are season ticket holders plus a few thousand on top, the outlay for those numbers are already in place. When there are a few more thousand go there isn't that must more that has to been arranged/paid out.
I'm a season ticket holder and I have to say that the owership is peeing off more and more and I'm finding harder and harder to support the club. It is just one joke after another. Why the hell can't the club admit they messed-up! That stupid 'bubble' will keep frost off but that is about it... It is always the same, the fans come last.

Was just to watch some egg catching (6 Nations) and it seems the same ref made the decision to stop the game. But this time just before it was to start. You'd think that -10C must have given a bit of a clue to start with. Noticed at the begining of the programme they had 'hairdryers' and a bubble too!
Is it just me, but it has been FN freezing ALL week and just because it is a Saturday people seem to think that it's all okay.
Who the bloody hell thought that blowing hot air would work - yes it might keep the surface warm but once you take everything off it starts to get cold again.
I'm a season ticket holder and when I read that ticket holders will still have to pay another 50% when the game goes ahead next time, just makes me mad and it made me realise that the club just does not care anymore about fans - just money, money, money!!! Anyone with a brain cell and been in Ipswich all week would have realised that there wasn't a hells chance of the pitch being okay and the game should have never started.

It all sound that the team seems to be coming together. Have to say that I would be happier if we had someone else signed-up for centre back.
Regarding the price if the tickets, I would have to agree with others on the site, too expensive - again the children and I signed-up straight away on the early bird offer. I feel that like some have suggested that Season ticket holders should have got in free especially those who have signed up for over the last couple of seasons!
But saying that if the tickets had been priced at £10 for adult and £1 for children I would have been there. Even my wife said that she would have gone too. But it does take the biscuit asking children to have pay £3. Alas the same will be for the cup game, too expensive at the prices they are asking for.
It's great to know that the club is taking notice of the supports isn't it. |

We either had or have the players that we need. I do believe that we have enough players for a good 11, but Keano just does not know who they are and most of them he won't play. I would like to think that the players that were used in the cup run to date get a go the show themselves next Wednesday...
I have to say that when the players came on the pitch on Saturday, they just did not look like they where up for it. [May be they were hoping it was going to snow?] But the omens were not good, first there was more than one tv camera and two town started the first half shooting towards north stand and then we had a ref who's only ref'd a handful of games in the CH'p.
So many times this season Mr. K has named a side where certain players that have done an okay job the game before have been omitted and then surprise, surprise then come on in the second half. It was a total joke again!!!
Yeah we need other signings but if we do how many games will they play and what stupid position is he going to play. I think if he got Becks and Owen in he play them out of positon - Owen right back and Becks up front!!!
I can't see Keano going until the summer and I can see us going down, and I really don't think that Mr Evans will give a damm. He properly has a plan B in place where he kills off town and replaces the pitch with a load of houses, no, flats cause that would make more money... No hang-on he's not making any money with town... Does he carer about anything???

My concern is that there is no fighting talk, no passion, just the same old B.S. When he was leaving the pitch he guestured back to a [town] supporter with his hand making the talking rubbish sign, nice bit of respect there!
What concerns me even more is the management team behind Mr. K there doesn't seem to be one and that seems to be the case all the way to the top. In a few months time it's going to be decision time about season tickets - and I have found it really hard to find the cash for the last two years. Back inthe early 90s I was one of the 8000 who'd go and watch even though town were on the slide. But
now that cash is tight I'm really going to think hard if it would be worth getting a season ticket. I'm not saying that I don't want one I love town but there comes a point where throwing cash away and not getting anything for it has to stop! There isn't even any incentive anymore to get your ticket early - the so called early bird scheme was extended last time and there is no real benefit to keep renewing straight away each year. There just does not seem to be any loyalty to being a true blue.
The situation became worse today too, as fans start to come to blows - and this was in the family area!

I was really looking forward to this game, in recent times we haven't had that many on Boxing Day [at home].
This is rubbish!!! Some say it is the refs fault but again the pitch is up tothe club. I can understand if the weather is poor and causes problems but, this notice an hour and a half before is stupid.
But to come to think of it there are a lot of thing that are wrong, and not just at this club... I think it is getting to the time where footy fans up and down the country need to start to voice their views about how football is going down the drain... |

I think this (so called) young team sounds okay. If he plays Jaime Peters and Andros Townsend in the right place, keeps Scotland and Priskin on for the whole game and don't keep messing around with the defence.
Note to Roy, if you have a defender sent off, put another defender on or at least a midfield player with a denfence type of mind, drop Priskin back between Scotland and Midfield at least you would have a holding player with another to run onto. sH*t I'm not a manager but it's not rock science is it.
Would like to go tomorrow but just can't afford it, may be if those micky mouse vouchers that the children got the other day let you use them for cup game then I'd go. Or a t-shirt that said Roy out!
The club were on the radio the other week talking about how they could make it better for the children. May be cheeper food and better drinks would be a start, some entertainment on and off the pitch, flags or something to wave... The list goes on and on. It doesn't take much.
I don't like seeing managers kicked out, but there is nothing going on with old Roy and come to think of it with the chairman et al. With got good players but they do not know how to get the best out of them... We were too quick to get rid of last manager. He might not have been the answer but at least there was some true town passion there. |

When a manager, has to bring on three of his sub at the beginning of the second half a game replacing three different areas... then to me he has messed up! Your subs are there so that you add something different to the game, more attack or defend. But I have seen so many games this season where the wheels have fallen off and then the manager wakes-up and realizes he has messed-up big time. The subs are there to give an extra push not to fix a mess-up.
I'm still convinced that MR. K decides who's gonna play for him by using Football Manager Manager.
For goodness sake Mr K. Play your strongest players and keep them on the pitch and keep those players playing game in game out!!! |

I can see why some of the supporters are fed-up and I can see why some of the supports are saying give him more time. But my gut is saying that if we're still in the same situation by the end of December I think well have to face it that there will be a good chance of us going down.
I think Roy can do a good job and in some respects he is, and there are positive sign too. But I'm very disappointed with his chilled out approach - before the season started, there was fighting talk, but since the season started it has all gone. Yes it is a good thing that town aren't loosing but draws aren't good. I want to hear Roy say at the beginning of a game, that only a win is good enough and that he is going to move heaven and Earth to get a quality players too, what ever the cost! But saying that only 50% 0f his buys have been any good, he has a worst record that some past managers.
We're just have to face facts that if town don't win most of the next ten matches then town will need a miracle!!! |

Since the end of last season 'we' all knew that we needed to do something up front and improve the back line... What has Mr. K. done nothing!!! He had all that time to get in quality before the start and all we have is more players for all of the other positions on the park.
All town have done is change one Irish Manager for another and it looks like this one has less of an idea than the than the last. Just shows that 'a fan' should be careful for what he wish for... sometimes its not for the better....
Keano, play 442 and stick with the same players and stop, playing around with the team - sh*t not even sure it is an Ipswich team any more! |

Now, I might be a bit long in the tooth but I have to say that I'm becoming a bit 'worried' about this striker issue. It's all sounding a bit familiar to me. I do have faith in the young ones at the club but we need that 15/20 goal a season guy. If not I just can't see us getting automatic promotion, anything else won't do. |
