Edwards: Second Goal a Problem

ITFC needs to start cultivating a culture of ruthlessness, grit, hunger, with its players, managers. I thought R.K. would bring that mentality in! It seems when players or managers come to Ipswich, they become lethargic. This is a LEADERSHIP problem. ITFC's Owner and chaiman are ''nice'' and ''patient'' people. So, the manager becomes this way, then the players become this way on the pitch. Managers too need a good ''shouting at'', a ''firm hand'', to be reminded that they are EMPLOYED, and they must DO THEIR JOB WITH DILIGENCE!

''We seem to take our foot off the pedal and think that's the end of it'', ''With the opposition we seem to say ‘Okay, there you go, take a bite of the cherry''. Comments like this are a reflection of the lack of pride and respect Edwards has in himself as a pro footballer. To freely, without anger, admit that you are blatantly not giving all of your best is unacceptable and insulting to me as a fan of ITFC.

But, because i am 'nice' and 'patient', i will be wanting the boys to win tonight! Its not about them, or the manager, its about this great club's better standing in the Championship and its journey back to the Premiership!
