BBC saying McKenna and Pert want to move on
at 18:08 22 May 2024

All these writers are just assuming and predicting and paraphrasing what everyone else is saying.

It's all getting a bit ridiculous and while obviously would love McKenna to stay, at this point if he doesn't I won't much care either. Just getting boring.

Man U: Dream job but tough situation and fans will get on his back quickly, hell could be gone by Christmas.

Chelsea: Boehly is a garbage owner and see above about the fans.

Brighton: Again don't care about the BS of having an 'established' Prem team, sideways move if ever there was one.

What’s the worst flight you’ve ever been on?
at 15:25 21 May 2024

On a flight to Hawaii about ten years ago now, a baby threw up on me twice and the guy on the other side of me smelled like ass.

Also, after the flight I got the runs from the food.

Awesome.

Trying to make this a bit less depressing
at 01:41 21 May 2024

Tbh none of those names fill me with any kind of enthusiasm. If McKenna goes, I would love for us to go after some managers people might not know much about, but I think would do a great job here. For example:

Arrasate currently at Osasuna
Hoeness who just take Stuttgart to the UCL
Knutsen who has worked wonders at BODO/Glimt

Sorry, but someone like Graham Potter and Rob Edwards is just boring and predictable.

Guardian: Brighton pushing to seal deal for McKenna
at 01:33 21 May 2024

Sorry but if McKenna takes a sideways move to Brighton(I don't wanna hear about the established Prem players or any other BS they have, it would be a sideways move) then he can piss off.

Whilst I would understand him taking say a Man U, him taking Brighton would be total BS and all the things he has said about how we wants to keep on building something here, etc etc was simple false platitudes and it was clear he was just using us as a stepping stone.

I was not deluded enough to think he would be here the rest of his career, but I never thought in a million years he would leave us for someone like Brighton(If it does actually happen).

I would thank him for what he has done for us this past two seasons, then won't much care what happens to him after that, can get fired and never work in the game and I wouldn't lose a wink of sleep.

Hopefully this is all moot this speculation, and when he gets back from vacation he reiterates how he wants to stay here, but until then everyone is going to be stressed about it.

I for one am in the "It is what it is' set of mind. I trust Ashton to get someone similar one and we go at it.

Hopefully Citeh will have a 65 point penalty

I have a better chance of Margot Robbie showing up to my house naked tomorrow morning declaring her love for me than City getting a huge penalty, or much of a penalty at all.

I think he has gone ....

This is getting ridiculous now. People letting these baseless rumors ruin their whole life. Of course their would be speculation, but does not mean anything in it.

Looks like we need to plan for next season without McKenna..
at 03:20 19 May 2024

I'm not planning for anything, because there is nothing to plan for. Ashton has already come out and said don't pay attention to rumors, and that all this is. Of course there would be links for him due to how he has done for us, does not mean anything in them.

Dang OP I would have to see your reaction if something really dramatic happened. Will be alright.

Fury vs Usyk
at 03:18 19 May 2024

Also, on a side note:

How come the new avatar I uploaded for my profile shows up when I am on mobile but doesn't on desktop(Still shows my previous one, on my end anyway)?

Just curious. Cheers.

Fury vs Usyk

I think overall the correct decision. Thought Usyk was gonna knockout there for a second tbh. The rematch in October should be interesting for sure.

Fortuna Düsseldorf look to be playing Union Berlin in the play-offs

Enormous F95 fan as well and I think in the grand scheme of things, Bochum is the opponent I most preferred for them to get. Not gonna be easy no, but just think they match up better with them.

Would be so awesome to see them in the top division again, will be watching and hoping they can get it done.

I'd happily take Emma Hayes as our next manager.
at 21:53 18 May 2024

Drugs are bad for you OP. She is a decent manager, but I mean come on. Totally different gravy managing women's football versus mens football.

Do think she will be very good for the USA women's team mind.

Brighton sideways move?
at 21:38 18 May 2024

Does Brighton have proven Prem players? Sure. Are they better set up right now for McKenna in terms of having success quicker? Perhaps. But this season they have clearly regressed and I think are due for a fall rather than an upward trajectory if you will.

I think Kieran is sincere when he talks about loving his job with Town and I don't foresee him leaving us for someone such as Brighton, who no matter how you want to slice it, is not a step up by any stretch.

Would make no sense to me and tbh I would lose a bit of respect for the guy if he left us for them. Man United sure, but Brighton? Come on.

Any other States based ITFC fans?
at 00:17 27 Mar 2023

Hello all!

American and Ipswich fan for several years now. Loving our season and think we will get over the line and get promoted if we keep our eyes on the prize as it were. Just curious, if there are other American and/or expats based in North America on here?

Thank you!
