Didn't Dyer say he was effectively doing it for free last season? My take form this (with no inside knowledge) is that with all the money coming in Terry probably looked for a wage from his work, not outrageous considering. However, given that Lee was moving back into his old role they couldn't justify both him and Klug assisting Dyer. Therefore the one not employed gets shown the front door. Not anyone's fault really just a change of circumstances. |

Shame as liked Woody.
With regard to Collison, I don't actually think that injuries have been the issue with his career. My knowledge of the situation is that he was on the road to stardom and then a tragic event occurred, his father died ok the way to a game to watch him play. Understandably this took it out of him and he has never quite been the same since.
My feeling is that much like our friend Mr Walters, he probably needs the change of scenery after such am appalling incident to get back to his career and believe that he genuinely could be a huge plus to our team. Really hope we do give him a chance to prove himself...just a shame it's at Woody's expense.

I thought he looked quality against the Hammers in preseason, would like to see him given a run out on saturday, although guess MM loves to keep Tabb on for the full 90 as he never stops running. Perhaps we can bring Henshall on for Didsy on the hour and play Ando and him out wide with Murphy in the center? |
