I've always called them billywitches. Maybe that is a Suffolk thing. Usually there are loads around in May but I haven't seen any at all this year (in IP4).
Had a tyre blow-out at 6:30 this morning and lost three hours . Now will be in Greenford 'til at least 5pm. Was meant to be picking up my son at 5 so will need to replan...
In a double whammy for good ole boys... Following yesterdays decision in US to ban the use of bump-stocks (see Bluelagos's thread) lynching has now been made a federal offence. That is lynching, as in the hanging by the neck of human beings by other human beings. Just a reminder - This is 2018.

In six months we have gone from being competitive, "punching above our weight" according to some, to now being probably the worst Championship side I've seen in years.

From having a tactical plan, albeit a pragmatic one of containment, to now being clueless and directionless.
From having faint hopes of perhaps making the top six to now having faint hopes of perhaps making the top 21.
Hurst has already "turned things round" and we are now facing oblivion.
