What a piss take. Every person at that game had purchased a ticket to watch a football match that would last at least 90 minutes, by purchasing that ticket you have entered into a contract with the club, a fair exchange is not theft. The supporters kept their side of the deal by handing money over, the club failed to deliver. If you went to asda and purchased a chicken, got home and found only two wings and a leg, asda would have to give you the remainder of the chicken and they would not expect you to pay anymore money! In fact, along with am apology they'd probably throw in a packet of stuffing to apease a customer. |

I was parked at Corley services last night so was listening to the game via the Birmingham commentary and even they said "it was a blatant penalty & they were incredibly lucky to get away with it!"
Jewell was angry and had every right to be because yet again the p**s poor standard of our refs, linesmen/ lineswomen has reared it's ugly head yet all the FA will do is back these morons!!! MALE or FEMALE if you can't do your job properly you should f*** off!!! It's the FA that is wrecking the game by not getting with the times, would have taken 2 seconds for the 4th official to over rule that last night but the FA are too pig headed to admit their referee standard is total cack at the mo!!! |

Well said Mark. Its about time the true supporters of this club started doing exactly that "supporting" When we signed the likes of Bowyer, Bullard, Andrews, Collins they were all jumping for joy at the big names PJ had attracted and also when we was on a winning streak things were all rosie but its amazing to see how fast they turn when things get alittle sticky!!! The team played their hearts out against Watford and aslong as they do that again tonight im 100% sure things will start to turn around but for all those calling for his head after only one season in charge its absolutly ridiculous. Keane was the one that said "i will get this club up in 2 years" and he was way off the mark but from day 1 no such thing has been said with PJ! It has ALWAYS been LONG TERM BUILD so for all the haters bloody get behind your team and give the bloke the time he desrves to BUILD a team that will be strong for years to come. Too many inpatient fans at ITFC now unfortunatly. "Rome wasn't built in a day" Lots of "fans" need to remember that!!!

Good on you PJ. you getting sacked or walking away would be the worst thing that could happen to this club because we would only get someone in that would have to chop and change the squad all over again then a year down the line the pathetic boo boys would be calling for his head too and we would end up nowhere yet again. You HAVE brought in some quality to this club now let's get the youngsters in, stick with it and it will all come good wether we get relegated & have to bounce back or not.

I've kept quiet over the last couple of weeks and just watched at what is being said on here and as a Town fan for 29 years & a season ticket holder since 1998 I can honestly say I'm ashamed of most of you so called "fans"
No things are bloomin horrible at the moment and yes it is very embarrassing being a town fan at the moment but how on this earth can you be calling for Jewells head so fast???? How can u blame him for THE PLAYERS not doing their jobs properly on the pitch???? The likes of Bullard & Bowyer have done sod all since signing on the dotted line yet this is the managers fault according to you lot! No I don't 100% agree with all of PJs desitions or tactics but that doesn't excuse the simple fact THE PLAYERS ARE NOT DOING THEIR JOBS!!!! Don't get me wrong I feel sorry for him with regards to his wife and twins but I don't have any sympathy for people driving while banned or no insurance/tax/MOT whatever it was especially not footballers!!! Ur telling me that for the length of his ban he couldn't afford to hire himself a 24hour a day on call driver knowing the situation he was in? Footballers always think they are above the law and regardless of him being our player or not he shouldn't get away with it. Like I said to my mate Monday night we have 2 strikers in exactly the same position but have both reacted totally different. Priskin has done nothing but throw a childish strop at not being in favour with PJ, this was evident even at the open training session that we see wen u could see his head was down and looked very dissinterested when the rest of the squad where very much having a laugh & Joke. Scotland on the other hand has been the true professional and shown maturity by knuckleing down and DESERVEDLY WINNING his place in the squad. I just hope that the standing ovation he got from the whole stadium will make him realise how much the fans appreciate his fantastic work rate pre season and he will stay at the club that he's worked hard to win over the crowed. Well Done Jason please stay, ur a role model to young players that think they have the right to play week in week out because of who they are!!! Even later in ur career u still must work hard and get rewarded like JS has, well done fella :0) |

Tractorboy2434 you can't expect something to happen every day. So far I think we've had a very good transfer window getting players in and very good pre-season. What PJ is doin for this club is 100% times better than Keane ever done but u can't expect us to go buying players everyday like Leicester etc. PJ is being very cleaver with the types of players he's getting so don't really care how long it takes along as we keep gettin the right players in. There is way more goin on than any of us know but ITFC always keep very tight lipped so u can't blame Phil for tryin to give us all the info he possibly can even if it ain't alot!!! |
