| News Comment | McKenna: Six-Pointer is Not a Phrase We Use at 10:56:40
Facefacts I think you are over-egging our first half v Liverpool, yes we had a couple of half chances but that is all they were. To say we should have been 2 or 3 up is wildly optimistic. |
| News Comment | Walton Signs New Deal at 20:53:22
So any comment criticising Muric gets down votes yet everyone seems to agree that Walton should be our number one? I'm confused, but very happy he has signed a new contract. |
| News Comment | Boro's Latte Lath Linked at 12:08:35
Looks a handful on the two or three occasions I have seen him. Repeating what others have said, more appealing than Broja. |
| News Comment | Town Closing In On Szmodics Signing at 07:26:24
If we had got relegated without signing SS there would always have been a what if? I believe that with him and Phillips we have given ourselves every chance of survival and building longevity in the too tier - our rightful place. |
| News Comment | Szmodics Off the Bench to Net as Blackburn Win Opener at 06:43:24
Taking inflation into account even at 12 million he is worth the gamble. 25 years ago we signed one Marcus Stewart for 3.5 million, that decision secured us promotion and his goals, despite no Premier League pedigree gave us our greatest season in the last 40 years. |
| News Comment | Szmodics Still Training With Blackburn at 07:11:49
Why does any comment showing frustration immediately receive down votes? Maybe younger posters don't remember the Burley and Sheepshanks era where for a time they could do no wrong, its good to have mixed opinions not blindly assuming success is sure to continue. |
| News Comment | Hirst Set to Switch International Allegiance at 12:14:18
It is just wrong, look at the England cricket and rugby teams, both just an ensemble of people who meet the qualifications that mean they can pull on the England jersey. |
| News Comment | McKenna: After the Seasons We've Had There Was Always Going to Be Speculation at 11:32:24
Agree with @warno, he could end the speculation like Alonso did, then we all and more importantly the club knows exactly where we stand. This summer more than any we need laser like focus on recruitment, planning etc, to make sure that we retain Premier League status. Whichever way the cookie crumbles this is not helping the club in that goal. |
| News Comment | Premier League Clubs Eyeing Davis at 11:10:48
Crucial that we achieve promotion this season, you can't assume that next season we will be stronger. Our squad could be picked over and even McKenna move on to bigger things. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Another Game We Feel We've Done Enough to Win at 00:02:46
Wooly74, not plastic fans at all. Forget this we were League One last season, no right to be promoted, Southampton and our Norfolk rivals both got back to back promotions. Stats being trotted out before Xmas suggested 90% + teams in our position went up automatically. |
| News Comment | McKenna: We'll Learn From Defeat and Quickly Move On at 17:32:44
Sad to say but Leeds had too much for us all over the pitch. There pace and decision making made the most of every opportunity. Maybe we see the difference between Premier League quality and where we are at today? Not knocking us, it's a great season but today has been an eye opener. |
