We keep being told that the cups are not our priority but surely we now have a squad capable of beating Newport Reserves at home. Surely the FANS are the priority and the FANS would actually like to beat a 3rd Division team to give us something to get excited about. Not winning games can easily become habit. Matthew_Crush. I get what you're saying but i think what most people on here a saying is that WE can all see the problems with this team ( Douglas, Skuse, Knudson, no creativity to feed our goal shy forwards, defenders and defensive midfielders hoofing the ball aimlessly to no one etc etc ) but yet its the same thing and the same faces every week. If you do the same thing all the time you'll get the same results. It needs a change, an injection of positivity, a fresh outlook. Mick did a great job for us when he came in but its just not working anymore. The game the other night on the tele WAS embarrassing but NOT a surprise and thats the sad thing. Lincoln are a non league team who outplayed us for 180 minutes. That can't be right can it? |

Embarrassing. Watching Berra, Douglas and Best last night was nothing short of a nightmare. Most of the others weren't much better either. How as our team got so bad. The only half decent players last night were Gerks and Lawrence ( and he's not even ours ). Can it get any worse and more importantly will it ever get any better. |

Jan 7th 2011 Roy Keane leaves Ipswich. Jan 7th 2017 Mick Macarthy leaves Ipswich???! Here's hoping lightening really does strike twice. I went to the 2-2 v Pompey last year and vowed then not to go today and even tho i had the day off and was cheap i still go. This was mybown very small protest and like others on here like JAS099 I was also gutted when I saw we had equalised. Sad state of affairs when you want your team to lose but i was thinking of the greater good. Club is a shambles and it HAS to get sorted soon. COYB. |
