Wish folks wouldn’t compare these 3 games as our ‘Peterborough, Barnsley, Exeter’. Seen that a few times, but Hull , Cov, are good sides with some proper players who know their way round this division or are, like Omari, on load from Prem sides. These are tough, tough games, no bullying them like we did last season’s opponents. We see this through and it’s up there with the best of this Clubs history. If not, please remember where we’ve come from and in what space of time. We’ve sold all our season tickets for next season already, we’ll sell the rest of the ground. It’s been magnificent, and we’ll be even better next season if we’re still in the Championship. |

No trace left, very sad. I’d like to think those concrete all goalposts were along the lines of the original pitch? Not been to football at the Ricoh, but did go and see The Specials at the indoor part back in 09’. Had to see them in Cov! Like many post industrial towns much has gone. I worked on the then new, Alvis retail park back in the early 90’s, used to drink in The Fob Watch pub in the evenings. |

This. I am trying to keep a lid on it at home, work, at matches etc. On here, we're pretty level headed, but here is not what makes news. It's the twitter mob that can make us look silly. Not as silly as some Leeds fans obviously, but even so. Just keep our powder dry for another week, then we can crow! |

I think you’re right, I can’t recall much of what could be classed as ‘banter era’ material before that? A couple of Burley signings? Tanner’s nose candy? There were probably some in the Ramsey to Duncan years but we never got to hear about stuff so easily back then. |
