I live just outside Pboro and work in Pboro, but support the mighty town. I know a handful of Posh's players including Boydy. He is on 9.5k a week up here and I bet town were only willing to match that sum not better it.
As for Taylor he will be wanting Prem wages he is an arrogant guy that thinks he is good enough, numerous posh player disagree. He will be wanting nearer 15k me thinks which is about 10k too much!!
Like others have posted yes Taylor will give us energy but is he better than what we have at PR....... NO.
Boydy on the other hand will give us something else that added but of creativity to unlock a defence and he scores goals too.
Would have been great to have them both but by tomorrow I would love to see Boydy in a town shirt.

I was looking at other keepers in the lower leagues earlier and I think someone like Alex Smithies at Huddersfield would be a great signing he has been their number 1 for 3 or 4 years and is still only 22?? If Huddersfield dont make the Championship then I think we should go for him, Rhodes and Hunt. |

Paddy39 just to make you aware that Norris left because of the money. He was happy with the wage that was offered it was the fact he wanted 3 years and ITFC would only offer 2!
I personally hope Leadboots goes the only reason he has been playing well this last month is so he can attract clubs for next season. This last month he has been the best player in the team but for the rest of the time he simply hasnt been good enough he has let others carry him through games. |
