He is def worth a punt, having watched him all season, he produced some superb performances, scoring all types of goals, including a couple of crackers. It is no consequence that brantham season turned round as he soon as he returned from injury and illness. Would be a massive loss and but he deserves the chance though. At 20k a real bargain. |

Chelsea would be the worst club to move too, when has a player came through their academy into the first team, Sinclair is an example, Manncienne, and the two Leeds youngsters that went there.
Wickham would never be seen or heard from again and a potentialy good career would be distroyed. If he has to go someone like Arsenal or Villa would benefit teams who bring through youngters and play them. |

its good to end our losing run a good point against a not bad side all tho 10 men and i agree with keano we lacked a cutting edge we need two strikers or creative midfielder such as gio to solve this and make the goals. Trotter has yet to get up to speed perhaps it would have been better for him to join scunny, hopefully we'll get edwards as he is versitile and can cover a couple of positions rm and rb and leadbitter as hes got good pedigree at this level. We probaly need a full back as today it showed the lack of depth (4 centre halfs all playing), quality there and maybe a centre half as well although we have got depth and potenial there.
Heard that d wrights on his way to reading thats why he didn't play today. |

ok we lost but i would much rather have 3 points on saturday. ok a win would have give us all a bit of belief and the team confidence but saturdays another game, hopefully we will win saturday and once we win one their will be no stopping us in my opinion as it seems a confidence thing .
seen on the bbc sport website were front runers for the celtic and scotland captain stephen mcmanus would be a great signing and a perfect player to play with bruce.
Get him and then a midfielder i see watson been mentioned and a forward in the mold of dave kitson i think we will be going places as these 3 would be quality. |

I feel that the players on the way will be garvan, stead and macauley.
Garvan has gone backwards the last two years perhaps hes been badly managed but with keano being hes idle you would have thought he would want to impress.
McAuley had a bad start last year and i felt he would come good and he did and was my p. o. t .y but to do start slow again this season this has got to be a problem with him we haven't got time this year to stick by him and i can't see him sticking around if bruce has been made captain indefiently.
As for stead was a big fan of his when he first came in last year, scored some good goals but he looked sluggish pre season and as yet is not up to pace or at the same quality of last hence why wickhams been relied on some much.
I know roy has played down selling him at sunderland but he what steady was like from previously you would feel stead would want to impress.
Delaney and healy may as well be released as there not worth much in my estimation and would get them of the wage bill, roy perhaps regrets this now but at least he saved cork by paying 50k more than hartlepool would have paid.
What we need is a c.b, creative midfielder, and a couple of forwards depends on stead and a left back depending how long thatchers out for.
As for players coming in don't rule out rk going back for a couple of his reliable promotion signings who have become surplus although there playing tonight in

andy reid a creative midfielder who can score goals as shown tonight
maybe even carlos edwards linked alot pre season
shittu's been mentioned would be a quality signing
Beckford or ilewmo form wolves proven at htis level

Finally we must trust keano he knows what he's doing and has been in this situation before with sunderland.

Makes sense really hes being playing well and with few striking options he it would be more benefical for him to stay here and probaly start a game or two.
Hes time will come for his country and at not smack in the middle of a load of games probaly for the under 21s in the future where the international calander is set. wasn't stuart pearce at the game the other night. |

come on everyone calm down hes come to be backup to wrighty and has probaly impressed keano. he seems to be a good height for a keeper and has a bit of experience.
Youve just got to trust roy rather than keep moaning about everything. i would much rather have keano than jim he will turn it around it only 3 games look at what he done at sunderland after a bad start and look at burnley 1 point from opening games last year and there now beating united in the prem.
Cast judement after 10/12 games not 3 or 4 if we lose tomorrow. ive got a feeling we will surprise everyone tomorrow and get a result. Bet that wont stop the moaning though will it. |

great to see pablo return he could be the missing link we need between the forwards and midfield we need hopefully keano gives him a chance like he said when pablo turned down the swans.
Did o connor play alright he should play at left backuntil thatcher returns as delaney is incomptent at defending and passing and great at standing still what was he doing,feel sorry for martin as the gulf in quality between then is ridiculus.
Still have faith in keano everyone and i think we may surprise people at the weekend by puting on a show beating the baggies. |

Interesting squad who do you reckon will captain?
It would be good to see if murray and wickham play up front as they have built up a good understanding at youth and reserve level.
Though probaly roy will play at 4-5-1/ 4-3-3 as already been suggested.

Would like to see RK bring in a striker with a bit of pace isn't beckford on the transfer list at leeds?
As for jm comment on the squad that is better at qpr thats probaly because he never signed any of them and just because you have a better squad it dosen't make you a better manager.
We'll see at the end of the season with us pushing for promotion and jim probaly been sacked with qpr in a mid table position.
