Fabulous we are now back in the big time. King calm is Kieran Mckenna. I had the belief that something special was going to happen. The game was pretty standard, we just had to wait 96 minutes to roar our heads off. We have another set of Town legends to celebrate. Our media presence will be massive, the PL is so much bigger from our last time there. The next journey is huge. KM now has to conjure up a survival plan. BELIEVE . Magic night. The football gods have created a miracle. To give Coventry their due they were not weak and we fought hard for this magnificent victory. Unlucky not to have scored more goals. Burge was super tonite. We did what was needed and know it's home to finish the job off. Has to be TV could not get a ticket for Huddersfield. It feels like the whole country is behind us bar Leeds. It is now very tricky; we either go for broke and attempt to win all three matches, but we maybe held to a draw and accrue injuries or suspensions prior to the play offs. Unfortunately Leicester have claimed top spot after last night's thrashing of Southampton. A day out at Wembley would be good, but a battle against the budgies will still be brutal. To be successful in business you have to take financial risks. Post Covid and the Ukraine War inflation has sored. Generally most football clubs lose money. Although a loss has been made in Ipswich, Game changer did wipe off our previous debt from Marcus reign. Although the new investment is good and our future looks better. But trying to compete with mega bucks clubs will be difficult. Look at Newcastle the investment has improved them (but no trophies). Man City with their 100 plus FFP charges could yet be banished down the leagues. Our progress has to slow down next season with the team and financial position, because we could break FFP rules. Agents and players get greedy and the team gets fragile. We need a new stand which could take another 5 to 6 years. We just need to build all areas in a responsible time period. |

Just got back from the game. We were poor for 80 minutes, going forward for us was like a taboo. After Tuesday's efforts and the warm up preparation on the pitch today, I believe we wanted to win. Cardiff were not that good. Our bad defending does not equal promotion. Surely with Leeds Winning last night our tactics should have been better. JS should not have started and we should have attacked their goal more. 8 shots today was pathetic. With the int break we need to sort out this mess. |
