Jewell: Half-Time Rollocking Does The Trick Again
at 01:35:37

buryblue77 - I disagree... a five hour coach journey (sleeping, playing cards and tweeting) and one night going late to bed (no different to staying up to play Mass Effect 3) doesn't justify a drop in performance from a professional footballer. These bozos are paid to be fit and to perform...

Priskin Expecting to Leave Town in Summer
at 09:37:03

tractorlowrie - it's punctuation he was checking, not grammar. ;-)

On a more positive note. Actually, I can't think of one. Ok... we'll beat Burnl... forget that. No, nothing positive to report.

Keane Waiting on Trio for Derby Clash
at 16:48:23

When it said Keane is waiting on Trio I assume this means three players and not the 80s band who made the record Da-Da-Da? Keano can be very confusing sometimes. Next week if he's waiting on Duran Duran I'll know it probably was the band called Trio...

By the way...

Q: which Man Utd player sometimes turns into a werewolf?
A: Rio Furry-hand

West Brom Tickets Now On Sale
at 16:43:19

The fact of the matter is that WBA are not Arsenal or Man Utd (or even West Ham for that matter) so the prices should reflect this. It's winter, people are saving for Christmas and the new Shayne Ward album is out soon so there are other unavoidable expenses this time of year.

I'm going anyway as I love a good Rumbelows Cup tear-up but appreciate that this is too much for many fans. I imagine ITFC's catering is external as otherwise letting in fans cheaply would have allowed Town to reap the whirlwind when it came to beers, hot-dogs, burgers and, presumably Twix bars.

Sadly the crowd will be no higher than 17,000...

Should have been £15 (adults) £10 (concessions) and £5 under 16s.

Would also be worth saying that if you buy a ticket then you get priority after the usual people for semi seats. That'd get people in out of fear.

Keane: Priskin Not the Only Player to Have Needed Time
at 13:32:05

John Stead this; John Stead that. Every time I look at the boards he gets a mention. Let's get Richard Logan back, eh too? And 'Deadly' Dean Bowditch. I do hope Priskin scores today...

Town Draw West Brom at Home
at 13:26:00

West Brom at home is a good draw. Very tough but winnable. I think the ideal draw would have been West Ham at Portman Road as we'd get a 25,000 gate and more winnable than West Brom. But, all in all, WBA isn't bad...

West Brom away on the other hand would have been the worst possible draw. A small gate and a guaranteed 2-0 defeat.

Town Number Four in Cup Draw
at 17:25:14

Incidentally...

If you look at the draw - it's a very probable Premier League table for 2011/2012. With the following exceptions: Wigan and West Ham will probably have been relegated, Birmingham will be around 15th, Villa probably will be 12th and Town will be languishing around the 16th position after winning the play-offs. Not far off though. Spooky.

Carling Cup — Quarter-Final Draw

1 Arsenal
2 Aston Villa
3 Birmingham City
4 Ipswich Town
5 Manchester United
6 West Bromwich Albion
7 West Ham United
8 Wigan Athletic

Keane: Priskin Deserves a Chance

Definitely give Priskin a chance. The very fact that he looks like he played a Marine in Aliens means he deserves a run in the side.

Town Number Four in Cup Draw
at 17:16:21

I've been monitoring the TWTD messageboard for a year or two now but feel (on this bombshell from whoppit) that I must now post a message. After all the comments you've made on here (all very positive) I think everyone will miss you if you leave.

On a personal note, since I stopped appearing regularly on TV I've not had much excitement in my life so I'm very pleased with Town's progress in the Rumbelows Cup this year. I think the best possible scenario for the QF draw is West Ham United at Portman Road. Decent crowd and we could beat them.

That's my two-penneth.
