Hi. Getting back in touch as Oxford United now has a live planning application for our newly proposed stadium - as detailed here: https://oufcstadium.co.uk/oxford-uniteds-new-stadium-planning-application-valida
"There is now a short window of time for the public to respond local Council on the planning application, so if anyone would be happy to fill in a very short form over the next couple of weeks before the public consultation closes, that would be massively appreciated. "As I've previously posted, if we were to move to this new Triangle site, away fans would benefit from improved public transport routes (including a Train Station on the doorstep of the new ground), vastly better facilities for visitors, and a significantly improved atmosphere compared to our current, soulless Kassam stadium. Thank you in advance to anyone who can spend a few minutes helping a fellow member of the football community from becoming homeless in two years." |

Edwards looks superb, scored an absolute worldy last Sat. Leigh has been impressive too, though got sent off for 2 yellows in injury time on full debut. He looks quality though. Both will be major factors in the months ahead hopefully. They’ve certainly got the fans behind them already. |

Just a quick update for anyone interested. OUFC have now been given approval for the required land from the County Council, to enable a full stadium application and bid to be made. Thanks very much from the supporters of OUFC to everyone on here who completed the survey, which played no small part in helping with the decision to lease us the required land.
Well done on your start to the season, impressive stuff.

Hi everyone,
A massive thank you to all of you who’ve supported the request to help OUFC out and complete the survey re our new ground bid.
The survey closes next week, so if anyone else has the time and chance to support a fellow EFL clubs bid, it would be greatly appreciated.

Completely agree about the Kassam, it’s not a place we’ve ever really called home, horrible stadium, just hope we can get the necessary approvals for the new ground, much better location etc…. Thanks again for your help |

4 stands, filled in corners, even some proper bars. All depends on approval though, many of them to come along the way, the first of which is to get County Council approval to lease the land at the proposed site, hence the request for support from as many football fans as possible. We could well go out of existence in a few years if the new stadium doesn’t happen.
Positive responses and a few decent comments about location etc… from fans of other clubs would be really appreciated and help make a difference.

It’s probably a few miles from Summertown, on outskirts of Kidlington and exactly as you have said right next to Oxford Parkway Station and a Park and Ride as well, so transport links superb. The new ground will have 4 sides and corners filled in as well! 😂 |

Thanks the new location will be literally miles better with proper transport links right next to the ground and as you say much better facilities at the ground and in the surrounding parts of the City |
