Just wanted to point out that Wayne Rooney was already a premiership player with Everton which could have had something to do with fact that he was sold for 30 mill...
Agree with the general consensus though, we always seem to pay over the odds and let our players go for next to nothing. 12 mill plus a loan back for the season plus lots of sell-ons should be minimum... |

I wonder when I read comments on this website between fellow supporters why a lot of you feel the need to critisize so damingly just because you don't agree with the points being made! I know there are also the occasional comments from fans of other clubs (who obviously need to get a life and/or go and post on their own websites) but seriously, what happened to respectful,positive debate and even occasional appreciation (like Burer's) rather than jumping down the throat of your fellow ITFC fan...? Thanks Mullet for taking the time to post your views and helping to keep this site alive with up-to-date views and comments... Group hug ;) |

I think that you only need to go onto any Sunderland fan website and see how much they are jumping for joy at this potential news, especially if they are to get 1.5 mill, to realise that this may not be the best bit of business we will potentially be doing...
I fail to understand why in the last few years we seem to be more or less giving away our players for low fees and always seem to paying over the odds for new ones that don't then add quality to the squad - or is it just me....?! |
