Wow! I don’t think my nerves can take anymore. 11 minutes of injury time didn’t help! Well done for holding on. Pleased for Kieffer thought he was our best player in the first half. Team spirit carried us through. Last but not least we’ve got super Kieran McKenna! |
| News Comment | Hull City 3-3 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 22:21:10
To be honest gutted! Ordinarily I would have taken a draw against a good Hull side. This feels like a defeat after dropping 2 points. Having said all of that I am still proud of this team and it’s still in our hands. COYB’s |

Great to have George back wasn’t expecting him to start! Omari and Wes both playing we are definitely going for it! COYB’s |

Another great team performance - Write us off at your peril! Pleased for Woolfie today who seems to be a yardstick for some numpties on here and a mention for Kieffer a goal machine who we need to sign permanently! When getting promoted. Plus captain Marvel Morsy our driving force. Exciting times COYBS |

This team just keeps giving, Hutchinson is such a great talent to have on the bench. Leicester and Southampton are wobbling which is great for us. Hopefully we have had our wobble and it’s onwards and upwards to the promised land. |
| News Comment | Swansea City 1-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:53:27
A good win today considering Swansea were reeling from the hammering in mid week. We ground it out and got what we deserved. Tiring in the second half understandably on a heavy pitch and a Wednesday mid week game. All round team effort and creates a bit of momentum at an important time of the season. Happy 50th Conor! Plus a mention for the exciting Al Hamadi. |
| News Comment | Preston North End 3-2 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 17:21:26
The only bright spot for me Kieffer Moore! At least we now have a striker who can hold the ball up and score after losing Hirst. First half very disappointing and where the damage was done. We really need to come out of the traps quicker. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-2 Maidstone United - Match Report at 17:47:28
@Broganonthewing - I agree with the comment that Jackson should take a long hard look at themselves. One poster still droning on about selling him even though he didn’t play today! |

Will will definitely miss your presence Mass no insignificance that we went on that run last season with you ever present in the team. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 2-1 Sunderland - Match Report at 20:13:03
Brilliant result and well deserved. What really concerned me before the start of the game when the starting 11 was announced. We had posters slating Kayden Jackson! Glad he scored, everyone is entitled to their opinion. However, let’s get behind him he wears the blue and white of ITFC shouldn’t that be enough? Anyway rant over! We’ve got super KMck…. in who we trust. |

We have huffed and puffed plus stuttered lately and really miss what Hirst brings to the team. Very sad to hear he will not be back until the back end of the season. I wish him well with his recovery. This will be a really important January transfer window for us! In KMck we trust he has worked miracles with a few bumps along the way ! COYB’s |
| News Comment | McKenna: Hirst Set For Surgery and Out For Most of the Season at 17:55:05
Big loss for us. We really miss his presence, together with hold up play and assists. It’s been evident from the last two scoreless results. Unfortunately Ladapo not an able replacement. Let’s hope we get the right centre forward out of the January transfer window. In KMck we trust. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 0-0 Queens Park Rangers - Match Report at 22:28:16
A bit of a damp squib to the end of what otherwise has been a very good 2023. For all those who are normally on Woolfy’s back, he was our best player tonight. We missed our captain and definitely Hirsty and Wes along with Leif. I don’t like to slate players but Ladapo was very poor especially his lack of hold up play. I thought Humphreys did well after being out of the first team for a long while. Feel a bit disappointed tonight, but what we have achieved this during 2023 has been significant. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Hirst Hamstring Injury Significant at 15:09:18
This is just what I feared! Hirsty will be missed, especially for his unselfish work off the ball. Will now need two top quality strikers to see us through. |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Leicester City - Match Report at 22:05:07
All credit for tonight’s never say die attitude which super Sam Morsy emulates! Worried about Hirst if he is out for a while together with the departures abroad due for January We desperately need a proven goalscorer. Ladapo will probably br off in January and Scarlett going back to Spurs. The January window will be crucial. COYB’s |
| News Comment | Leeds United 4-0 Ipswich Town - Match Report at 19:10:13
For all the usual negative posters who can’t seem to wait to post negative comments. We have not got the money Leeds have! 20 million on their centre forward says it all! Well done ITFC on your success during 2023 and Merry Christmas to the more balanced folk who recognise what we have achieved. We support the Ipswich |
