It's a sad time for all of us. Looking back I thought it was best that MM left the club. (Though I never booed him out as don't agree that helps the team in the slightest). But now we are looking for a MM to get us out of what surely is this time league 1 football next season.
No manager (including MM) ever wants to lose a game. Yes sometimes their tactic and ways baffle us but really if any one of use could do better we would be managing football teams for a living. Basically let's try and keep a positive attitude for PL and the players he has inherited until the end of season then decide. ME is a businessman not a true football fan like us. He needs to cut his losses now or invest heavily next season. He has the control over our future. He should receive the pressure and negativity from us first of all. |

This might be irrelevant to the article but I diddnt realise that we as a club have the 5th wealthiest owner in the Championship. And once again with the sales of Waghorn, Webster and reducing our wage bill he has come out with more in his pocket than he has put in this summer.
Bart now on the bench now means the club value gerken more than him so if someone can put a price on gerken then we cant possible value bart higher.
(Even though he is the fans player of the year once again). So we have de-valued our best asset within weeks of him signing a new contract.
It makes no sense to me....
So much is wrong here. Paul hurst appealed to ME as he would have agreed to reduce the wage bill and bring in a team to which he foolishly thought could compete in the 2nd tier... how many of our new signings were we in a battle to sign. None. Anyone else. Windass. Nigel etc chose to go elsewhere.
If I'm wrong please explain our owners motives as I cant figure it out.

You know all you guys who are going on about in-experienced, low league players that never set their previous team alight.... well does one of the most obvious reasons not occur to you that is these players cannot perform to the top of their game with the ability of players around them. Put them in a better team the will perform better.... |

"From the moment I spoke to [new Sunderland owners] Stewart [Donald] and Charlie [Methven], their energy and enthusiasm was evident and I share in that.
Considering he had 2 interviews with Marcus we as a club obviously seemed to have much less enthusiasm and desire than a very very troubled Sunderland team facing a season in league 1.
This concerns me slightly I must admit. |

Chambers is shocking... his fault for the corner he give away only for huddersfield to convert. And he still wears the captains armband. How can you still be the on pitch manager if your performances are always this bad. Bart deserves the band in my opinion. Think we need to start a petition!! Lets ditch the should we have sold murphy pie chart to something more appropriate. |
