Ithinkas Fans of the club we have to accept that we are in a massive transition period,we are not going to get anyone in today accept that. if god forbid we are relegated then I would like to think we can bounce back first time, we have to give the youth players a shot and build again, I think Mr Evans, who we should not forget saved our club, will act in the summer and remove Jewell and Clegg untill then we have to pull together and get on with it, if you dont want to go to Portman Road then dont go, but comon everyone whine here but not at the team, we have to stick together |

Itravelled up from oxfordshire this morning for the match and I am really happy that we won but we didnt play at all ,Leeds were better than us simple and if not for 2 good saves from Stockdale, the 2nd one hit him in the chest but he had "Schmichael Jumped" to spread himself, we could have been 3 down, different team once Leadboots had been substituted, Bullard came to the central defence looking for the ball and we looked a different team, cant see Leadboots starting for a while, Sonko played well and was impressed with Cresswell, in the 2nd half we improved 100% cracking shot from Scotland and about time we had some luck for the winner.
Just one complaint Atmosphere was rubbish in the first half, since the ground has been redeveloped we have effectively 4 family stands, where have the harcore Churchmans and North Stand fans gone I can remember from my childhood in the 80's and early 90's?
Still onwards and Upwards remember Keep on Swimming!!! |

Not Sure about everyone ranting about ME and Clegg, Marcus Evans has invested loads of money into the club and people should be mindful of that before ripping into him, Football is coporate now, if you consider CW as a commodity then we have probably invested £500,00 in him then a 10 fold return on that investment is excellent business, John Wark and Paul Mariner left ITFC when I was 7 and the club is still here, players come and go, we sold Dyer and used proceeds to get promoted, Jewell will do the same, so if it happens accept it and move on... |

It's a fact of modern football that players play there contracts out and move on, everyone get over it and move on, as for the we use to have better centre-halfs there is no point living in the past, my first match was the Uefa Cup Final its been all downhill from there but you have to deal with the present, we are a medium sized Championship Club who are very lucky to have a generous benefactor in Mr.Evans, stop crying about GMac and wait to see who we get in!! |

Norwich took there chance when they came, though 2 of there scorers, Jackson and Surman were both heavily linked with Ipswich b4 signing 4 Norwich. As for some of the home fans.. where i sit there are 2 guys in my row who dont have a clue all they do are criticize the players, last night i lost it as the guy was ripping into Bullard saying"get it forward dont pass it sideways"..lumping it forward does not work ask Roy Keane.. Jimmy then ripped the net out with his shot so the complete prat in the Lower Britannia shut up for the rest of the night, We all should take a long look at ourselves its ok to express our opinions but back the players dont start having a go after 5 mins...Norwich should the way out of the division this year Jewell will take us up, we are not that far away... |
