Being leafy, upmarket Cheltenham....I am assuming that these eggs were free range and organic

I tend to throw insults to those I don't like... being slightly cheaper and therefore a bit easier on the pocket

Exactly this...

I just admire his attacking intent. He crouches low over the ball and pushes forward at every opportunity

He brooks no nonsense; a true leader

I nominate Keno for his relentless good humour, upbeat demeanour and dreadful yet filthy puns

He is truly our very own Julian Clary

I won't be there, but should be a good crowd.... there were about 30 for the Nodge game, should be more for this one I would have thought

Harry From Bath..

I saw him a few weeks ago after watching the Nodge match in a Sports Bar in Bath

A few of us popped into his Mags and Vids Emporium in the slighly rougher part of town

Safe to say that his interests lay in a different direction at the moment, he is still very much a Town fan, but he won't be writing a pre-match report, attending any matches or even popping along to the Summer Bbq

He is in fine health and is absolutely over the moon with how this season has panned out.....he hopes to be back with us on the terraces at some point in the future

Anyone with that surname would have been bullied at school....

And now he is taking his revenge on society by being a Conservative

Btw..... which one is Mr Smellie?

Both the males seem very badly dressed for a PCC Candidate, especially one from that lot

CEOs can be poached....

Usually after they have been grilled by the Owners

They can be steaming after a poor spell and maybe even flambeed

But the are best served by the raw of an appreciative crowd

You have got him living in your kitchen??

Very succint Mr Illnois

I can feel a call/response terrace chant coming on

"What Do We Want?? "

"Measured Growth"

"When Do We Want It?? "

"Progressively Over The Next Few Years "

The 'special military operation' continues to reach new lows.

Finally... the House of Representatives has voted through the $61 bn aid package to Ukraine

Delayed from October last year, it passed by 311 votes for, 112 against.... very nearly 2/3rds majority

The 6 month delay has caused untold deaths and problems for Ukraine, impossible to quantify but had the aid package been put in place in a more timely manner then the situation on the ground in Ukraine would look very different

Should we be grateful to the efforts of the House Speaker for pushing this through....or furious with him for the entirely avoidable delays?

Anyone got a VW or similar camper van?
at 11:00 18 Apr 2024

I have a Mercedes Vito that is sometimes the works van and sometimes used as stealth camper.

A simple bed set-up from a sheet of ply and a foam matress....small stove for making coffee and the World is your lobster.

It also has a bench rear seat, but that is a total pain to fit/re-fit, so I never bother tbh.

It is nippy, comfortable but a bit of a pain to park in an ordinary parking bay and it drinks a bit more than a car....about 40mpg, better on a longer run

Apparently he threw up in some geezer's flat and the bloke wasn't best pleased

So the money was a contribution to the cleaning fees

Why do so many people confuse 'lose' with 'loose' ?
at 09:31 18 Apr 2024

One of the very few things that irks me is the incorrect spelling when referring to loathesome Leeds born peadophile

His name is spelled Savile....not Saville

There is a handy reminder in the last part of his name...

Evil spelled backwards,,, a vile man
