Than you Les, my threshold for boredom holds no bounds and I like forward to providing more quality material for you to enjoy. Like Boycot making his way to double figures response might be slow and steady but each installment will be quality to be cherished. Remember it matters not if we get relegated provided we do so with style and panache. Results business? Entertainment business. Maybe we should go all WWE and fix the results in the name of entertainment.... thoughts? |

I am appalled by the half time score line, oh god we can't beat BelgIan minnows. This is worse than Celtic losing to that lot from Gibraltar. I have to insist that these meaningless games that offer minimal insight are taken more seriously in the future. |
| News Comment | Trialist Lamah Starts Final Friendly at 15:56:41
I find it unbelievable that the club is playing a trialist when we could use this opportunity to give one of our young players game time.... I cannot fathom the logic unless the friendly has been arranged to allow a Belgian club to take a look at a Belgian player in opposition. I suspect they are playing us a paltry sum to take a closer look at him. |
| News Comment | McCarthy: Important to Excite Fans at 09:27:38
I find it disgusting that we have not traveled to China or America on a long and expensive jaunt that could have easily come out of Evans pocket. If we want to play premier league teams that's clearly the only way it is ever going to happen. Frankly a run out against a team of kids (spurs played 8 youngsters alga instead Athleti the other night) who have barely started a competitive match between them would be of far more benifit then playing a bunch of Belgians we've never heard off. Sort it out Mick, LA Galaxy, Chelsea, Sporting Lisburn and PSG next sea son or don't bother and just play against the under 21s . |
| News Comment | Cambridge United 1-1 Town - Match Report at 17:27:56
£700k outlay, a million if you factor in Clarke. Ambitionless is clear, much of Evans outlay can't legally or contractually be repaid until we're a top flight side so he's obviously trying to wriggle out of that so he can sell PR to some developers and they can build a leisure centre. I for one am flabbergasted that what is effectively a training game isn't taken more seriously and that we are not all reading more into that. The failure of some on here to not block out platitudes from the club about signings is beyond belief. |
| News Comment | McGoldrick Set to Return at Cambridge at 22:27:04
Well then we agree about something as you say the "tight arse" gave them millions of pounds, a snifter of ambition remained then I suppose. Now the Cobbolds were owners. |

Tracrorboy All I know is we never won 1 - 0 under Jewell or Keane. Tells me all I need to know. Now to lose 5 - 3, thrilling stuff, never a dull moment and although we might have conceded 5 poor goals we almost always scored 3 QUALITY ones. Also at least 3 of those we did conceded were because we were attacking and showing some ambition. |
| Blog Comment | Sam Allardyce – The Sensible Choice? at 18:37:02
I would add to the excllent blog above that this all works perfectly well for Mourinho too. The top 2 coaches in the world demonstrate the extremities of footballing styles and that accusations of being prehistoric or wide of the mark when you consider the success of Mourinho and the other managers mentioned. Is Sam right for England? I don't know but I do think he deserves his chance. Eddie Howe in 5 to 8 years. |

More hoofball I expect, god I long for the days of Paul Jewell and Roy Keane when we'd lose but at least we looked pretty doing it. I don't care if we get relegated this season provided we do it playing tika taka. |
