Yawn yawn. Did we have a shot on goal? £30 for a ticket in the lower SBR. Money not well spent. Brighton were poor but we had no clue how to attack other than hit and hope. Some signs of promise with Ward, Grant, Lawrence, Bishop but obviously they are not used to trying play passing football under MM.
Not much more to add to everything that's been said above. My first game of the season having been away. Was excited to be back to see the new improved Town. Nothing doing. Same old dull defensive dross. Really sad to say but there's no pleasure in watching that. More like bitter endurance. Not sure how much longer Town fans can endure MM's style of football.
Not even a mention of Paul Taylor. Why is that TWTD? Because you don't think MM will even consider him? Or are you in collusion with our dull attritional style of football. One of our few players who shows any quality of adventure with the ball and he is somehow written out of the team. I really don't understand. I'm going to Brighton tomorrow with very little optimism and fully expect us to loose. Sorry for the negativity but does anyone think we'll actually try and play attacking football that isn't just a hoof in the vague direction of Murphy?
Very disheartening to see Portman Road half empty each week and worrying for the future as the Trust state. As supporters we should really keep the pressure up on the club to lower prices and encourage youngsters into the stands. My feeling is that only massive local opinion is going to make the Evans business-minds listen.

Coming back on the train. It's a long way to Burnley. Very obvious that MM was not bothered about this game in the least. His comments before and after, his team selection, his bench selection, his decision to sit on the bench and let TC do all the pitch side communication. I am disappointed. A lost opportunity to build momentum for next season. Of course utmost respect to MM for keeping us up but a very tame showing today.
