I would think that if anyone knows what it takes to recover from a career-threatening knee injury, and return to the midfield battle at 100%, it would be Roy Keane. If he suspects it's a question of mentality, I trust him. |

MackemYank, you don't rate Keane much as a manager? The man Saint Niall credits with getting the club up off its knees? Those players you disparage got Sunderland promoted to the premiership in one year as champions and kept them there. Have some f*cking respect. I travelled half way around the world to watch Sunderland play multiple times, and I only wonder that Keane managed to attract HALF the players he did to your sh*teheap of a city. I thank God every day he is at Ipswich Town; a classier club there does not exist. |

Daryl was a good player for Roy at the Championship level and perhaps more importantly, loyal to him in that viper's pit that was the Sunderland dressing room near the end. |
