Thread | ‘Those were the days’.... really?

Although I am sure this question has probably been asked before, but as someone who rarely checks the forums prior to the management fiasco, I did not see it.
My question is this: why do we have such a defeatist name for our club website? I mean it basically says our best days are past and now the best we can do is look back in fondness. Where is the positive outlook? I’d far prefer a name that focuses on the current affairs/ gives enthusiasm for a brighter future. |

Heard it from a reliable source that the cowley brothers were at Portman Road to put pen to paper on friday (personal friend of Danny cowley that works with myself). Really not bothered as to whether you believe me or not just thought I’d let you all know.
I for one am happy with this news and welcome them to the ipswich family! Young talent and exactly what we need. COYB. [Post edited 6 Apr 2018 17:50]
