QPR 1-0 Town
at 00:01:40

So many pairs of panties bunched up in this thread! Folks bitching about (narrowly) losing (shock horror) games of football and not being content with 3-0 wins because we forced two own goals (OMG, do these not count as much as goals scored by our players?)
What I see here are Tractor Boys desperate for the team to do well - we all are. The realities of it are we're three games into the league season and we're mid table. We could be in November with 7 points on the board, awaiting a miracle to get us out of the brown stuff. We are in debt to our majority shareholder to the tune of £72m - it's amazing philanthropy from Mr. Evans. We have FFP rules to comply with and we don't have a parachute payment.
Rather than becoming slaves to the media-driven insanity that is modern day football coverage, how's about we al see what ME, MM, TC & the boys can do over the course of a full season, give them our full support and let's look for a final league position improvement? Remember last season when we got battered five and six in MM's first few games? We still showed play-off form despite those defeats. Remember how insanely tight the Championship was last season? Of course you don't, because this is a whole new season and we all deserve our place in Valhalla.
I'm off to ask Thor if he'll loan us his brother Loki to add a bit of steel up front...

Crawley 1-2 Town

Living ten minutes up the road I w ude not to go last night.
Loach certainly started the second half. I thought Mings looked good going forward and that Tabb was excellent in the second half - he looked a threat every time he was on the ball. I was underwhelmed by Carson and Chopra, though. Elliott Hewitt has a good long throw and he showed some composure, too.
