Sky Bet Renew Loyal Fan Nina's Season Ticket
at 16:15:29

We could all be cynical about this towards SkyBet but at the end of the day, Nina has a little bit of sunshine back in her life. That's what's most important here.

Town Players Party With Sheeran
at 14:52:27

From Miami Grand Prix to Chinny’s Sports Bar, to celebrate with his mates - and sings and pays for it all too. What a guy. Team deserved it.
Can't see many other global A-list superstars being quite as down to earth like that.
One up on Wrexham & without the TV cameras.
Wonder if Elton got an invite.

Town Set New Highest Average Home League Attendance Record
at 13:08:38

Bet we could have hit 40k+ next season if the ground had been expanded under the Evans era.
Even if we go back down, depending on if KM is still with us and what players we still have, we could still max out the ground at 29k.
So important to get the stands capacity updated asap, both financially and from a fanbase point of view.
Imagine the atmosphere of a 40k+ crowd this past season after Sarmientos last gasp winner.

Hutchinson Recalled to Chelsea
at 12:59:56

I'm not going to be popular as I know we all love the guy, but he's not coming back & we know it, sorry.
Chelsea will cash in or go loan somewhere else to broaden his skill set and experience. His brilliance under KM is also our curse & opened up new options for him with all the recognition he's now getting.
We love our club and Hutch seems to have mutually enjoyed it here, but for so many reasons I'm accepting he wont be back.
Our success will also open doors now, so we may find a new gem that's our own.

Council have a job on their hands first to clean up the town. A one off, but still a bit apocalyptic.
Might want to mute sound if sensitive to colourful language, but understandable.

Council offered to clean up the mess anyway. Norwich fans calling us "binners" might have a point with those responsible. .

McKenna: I Love It Here!
at 20:51:44

Needs a season in the Prem to really test & show his credentials to impress for other Premiership jobs. I fully expect that will be us for at least another season. He's helped mould his baby at itfc with full support & respect from those around him. He knows a leap to another club would be premature & probably not help his career just yet. He's obviously going to attract interest but not done enough at the highest level yet to really test himself. Big but welcome shock I suspect to be in this position so early in his career, so after a bit of a break, I fully expect the game plan to be updated by the club & well prepared for our first season back in the Prem.
So it's 2nd in the Premiership then next season while being told we don't stand a chance throughout it? I'll settle for that.

Morsy: Exeter Experience Will Help Us
at 21:51:24

Brings a bit of a tear to my eye to think that some of these players that have worked so hard to get us to the Prem, might also not be here next season to enjoy the fruits of their labours. Prem is a challenging league even for elites & saddens me that inevitably there will need to be "upgrades" in some positions to be competitive. Keeping that same spirit between existing team mates that got us here may well mean we either struggle or we upgrade & potentially risk it to succeed. Sadly some cruel choices to be made for those that don't make the cut, but let's reward them all & celebrate with them tomorrow, no matter the future.

McKenna: It's Exciting to Be Leading the Project and We Want to Continue That
at 21:37:13

KM spoke to Palace out of respect for their interest & to tell them where to shove it. At least that's what I'm hoping happened. Getting us to the Prem & then leaving would be emotionally devastating for all. I don't think he's that kind of guy.

Breitenreiter: Changes But We Have to Remain Professional
at 11:49:53

Am I reading between the lines here by thinking the following?
Breitenreiter has to say what keeps him his job. He knows he has to offload players that aren't his or don't want to be here, & might aswell motivate ones that do by giving them their shot. He knows & feels what's at stake for both sides, especially us, but has to be as professional as possible in balancing all that. In his heart, he doesn't want Leeds to go up & neither do his fans, so his heart is in this as a pro. I suspect he wants to win, but also not. He seems to respect & possibly even root for Ipswich under the circumstances, but can't make that obvious. He will get this over & let us go up, albeit with a show fight.
I don't expect him or his side to win, but I do expect he won't put himself out of a job for us, neither will their players. Some might have a point to prove, but most will understand our cause.
Our lads will go all out for the win, tighten up, be inspired by the crowd, do a proper job & win reasonably comfortably. Huddersfield will be gracious in defeat & we will have a new found respect for them & their supporters. They'll know bittersweet what it means to all & will respect what we've achieved, especially if it gives one final two fingers to their rivals. Only thing the can realistically control.
Ok, I'm obviously fantasising & will receive plenty of opposing comments to put me bacj in my place, but I don't think Huddersfield want to spoil our party under the circumstances & up to us to prove that. I don't think they'll be disappointed to lose to us & know it won't be personal. Think they & fans might even celebrate & be happy for us.
Ours to lose. Never been a better time to return to the Premiership & be a blue! Only 90+ mins to glory.
Scaringly exciting.

McKenna: Burns Injury Cramp, Clarke Knee Problem
at 09:01:24

Phew! Injuries could have been much worse. Glad it seems not.
Need as many players available as possible for Saturday, especially the likes of quality players like Davis and Burns. Shows how hard these guys have worked and given their all. They are proud to be a Blue and we're proud of them, no matter what, too. Hope Clarke is fit too, as he's a home grown Blue like Wolfie and knows what this means more than most.
Probably the most committed team I've ever witnessed in all the decades I've followed Town.
Lets show them how much we appreciate them on Saturday, no matter the outcome. Shame we can't sub the whole squad on as I'm sure they all deserve it, yet those that aren't don't seem to ever complain.
I've got some dirt in my eye now and its watering, so need to go clean it.

McKenna: Players Handling Big Three-Game Week Really Well
at 16:54:34

Seems some responding to my comments are reading and commenting on some things I'm not actually saying or spinning it differently, so will clarify.

A win tomorrow means we have the option of a win or draw vs Huddersfield. A draw tomorrow means we have to win vs Huddersfield or its the playoffs lottery. Which is better?

As long as we get auto promotion, I'm happy , rather than the lottery of the playoffs. Which would you all prefer?

Didn't compare Leeds loss to our draw at Hull, I didn't even mention Hull, only Huddersfield and how we can't assume if we draw tomorrow that we'll win vs Huddersfield. Comparing Leeds loss to QPR shows shocks can happen, not that I said or think it will.

To clarify, my point about tomorrow being a must win if we have any chance about not getting thrashed in the Prem, was comparing the standard of teams in the Prem to Cov tomorrow. Cov have little to play for & key players out. If we cant despatch them under the circumstances, how do you think we'll do vs Liverpool? I think the optics of showing we can confidently win tomorrow & step up like we did last season are very much relevant to the Prem next season and how we might fare, even after strengthening & losing some players.

McKenna: Players Handling Big Three-Game Week Really Well
at 13:39:03

Anything less than a win at Cov will be seen as a negative for the added pressure of final day results.
Not fussed about going up automatically as either champions or 2nd place but playoffs now will be felt as a failure of sorts.
Leeds loss to QPR shows how tables can turn on any given day, so Huddersfield last game at home as a win is definitely not guaranteed & devastating for the fans if we lost.
KM sure did bang that dugout wall when they equalised 3-3 on Saturday.
Must win tomorrow if we have any chance of not getting thrashed in the Premier League.
