Lambert: A Lot Better Than at Preston
at 19:10:36

The fact that lambert still needs to sit down with Evans so he can find out “exactly where we are” sums up the state of this club for me! We have been relegated for a long time now and could have really started planning for next season ahead of many others! Our manager doesn't even know the state of play with his goalkeepers so it probably follows that it's the same for the rest of the squad! Surely those conversations could have been happening weeks ago! I dislike Evans immensely for how much he has destroyed this club! And before anybody says it, no I can't afford to buy him out, but he has still ruined this club!

Nolan: The Biggest Game of the Season By a Mile
at 17:15:48

I think of all of the signings made in the summer, this one has disappointed me the most. I was quite excited when we were linked with him because he looked like a central midfielder who could score goals, assist and carry the ball (something we have lacked for a long time). Not sure if it is a confidence thing but he just doesn't seem to do anything in a game apart from run around a bit and get rid of the ball as quickly as he can. Really hoping he can be a big player in league 1 next season like he was for Shrewsbury

Lambert's Pre-Norwich City Press Conference Live on TWTV at 1pm
at 11:40:19

1) We just need a bit of help
2) This is the only club in the town and when it gets going it will be quite some ride
3) Marcus Evans has been great, he really has
4) Recent referee decisions have cost us
5) The vibe is so good in the club you really would't know we are bottom
6) Overall performances are really good

Pretty sure that will cover most of it!

We might well be bottom of the league, but we have something that the other 23 teams don't have......

We have the Marcus Evans 5 point plan!

Town Announce Norwich Play-Off Ticketing
at 12:32:28

Anybody had any joy purchasing their tickets online? I'm a season ticket holder and have been in a queue for 2 and a half hours now trying to get my seat. Pretty sure the club advised to buy online as it was simpler! This is a joke! Sort it out ITFC!!

Jewell: I Won\'t Walk Away From Town
at 09:00:07

I am still behind him but don't know why people keep saying he has brought in quality players.
JET, Ellington, Ingarmarrson, Bowyer etc definately not quality.
Without good signings in january we are in trouble.

Forest Boss Undecided Whether He\'ll Renew Interest in Town Skipper
at 13:02:47

Please take him. I don't usually like jumping on the bang wagon to criticise a player, but I think he is useless. Probably the worst captain I can remember us having. He says he doesn't shout much on the pitch as he lets his football lead by example! Do me a favour!!

Jewell: We\'ve Still Got a Soft Underbelly
at 13:54:34

I was quite suprised when we went on a decent run playing the midfield and formation that we do as have never been a fan of playing four similar midfield players in a narrow formation. However with the results that we had I hoped that PJ might have stumbled across something that worked. Quite clearly it can only work if we come up against opposition with no pace and who don't press us. The last few games it has been badly exposed and I fear long term it will not work. We do need width and Martin is probably as good as we have (I still stand by the fact that Carson is useless). Where else will the width come from though? Moving Edwards forward is not really an option as he NEVER actually gets past his man, instead favouring getting to the defender and then stopping and passing backwards! It is worrying though, despite the investment, that the overall squad is still weak. Ellington does not even warrant a place on the bench at the moment and JET looks a huge waste of money (although willing to give him a chance that he might improve). Why didn't we try and get at least one attack minded player with pace?

Norris Only Left Town For Fantastic Offer
at 13:06:00

Personally speaking I will boo him. We paid decent money for him and I would assume paid him decent wages (the club stuck with the transfer even when it seemed it would never happen). In that time we have had him we have probably lost a year from him through injury (not his fault admittedly) and stuck with him. Yes he gave 100%, but for the fee plus the wages he cost he should have done more than run around in circles and score a few goals last season. And we all know he was off when the contract was not sorted in january but he kept insisting that he wanted to stay. Then when the season is over he announces that he is actually off and joins portsmouth (didn't see that coming). Coward.

Jewell: We\'re In There Fighting For Jimmy
at 21:06:44

Quite disappointed to see this story. Don't get me wrong he did a very good job for us last season but as a fan it is annoying being taken for an idiot. He states that it isn't all about money, but then seems content to sit out the remainder of his hull contract (until he was sacked). Therefore reading between the lines he clearly was not prepared to take any less than his reported 45k a week wages, otherwise he would have ended up somewhere. If he was that bothered about playing football then he could have surely come to an arrangement with Hull. Yes he is entitled to that money as he signed the contract, but don't then make out that all that matters is playing football. Did anybody also notice that he also talked up each and every club which showed an interest in him? I would rather accept that we used him to get us out a relagation scrap and he used us to play some football and get match fit.

Jewell Apologises for Worst Defeat in Management
at 19:47:24

Can't really add much that other people are saying. I don't think I have ever seen a team defend as bad as we are. Ainsley is not even close to being good enough to having a career at this level, Delaney is always a mistake waiting to happen and certainly cannot organise a defence. He got away with his limitations with a fellow centre half who could organise him (Macauley) and Smith just looks broken since his loan at Colchester last year. Ingarmarsson looks decent enough but will spend a lot of time injured I fear. Amazed that we have not looked at signing as right back as Edwards is caught out of position time and time again. If it is true a bid has come in for Leadbitter then please please accept it. It was bad enough last year but the fact that he is now the so called captain is a joke. I honestly cannot see what he brings to the team. After seeing JET for the first time in the friendly at Colchester I remarked to friends that he was going to be a very frustrating player as although he has bags of ability, it seems there will be many games where he doesn't apply it. Carson is another player who will not cut it at this level. Feel sorry for Chopra as he will score goals with decent service and feel sorry for the goalkeeper too. He must wonder what kind of outfit he has joined. Jewell needs to find a formation and stick to it. I actually had no problem with the 4-5-1 which he started the season with (and played with in the pre seasons) as with 2 wingers it can double up to 4-3-3. Changing the whole formation so soon in the season just looks desperate.

Jewell Impressed With Cresswell
at 08:49:41

Went to the Colchester game and was really impressed with Creswell. Like others have said he looks very good on the ball and looked solid at the back. Gets forward a lot as well and the partnership with him and Martin looks to have potential.

Willing to give him a chance but have to say doesn't seem like a great signing. A bit too similar ro Scotland for me in that he isn't very mobile or quick. Hopefully Jewell can get the best from him, but Im sure Derby fans said that when he went on loan there a few years back.

Delaney: Keane Unreasonable
at 13:51:26

Don't get me wrong, I am not sorry to see the back of Roy Keane as manager, but it is harsh to blame it on him for a speeding ticket. Any decent boss will not tolerate lateness as it shows a lack of discipline.

Norris and McAuley Exits Confirmed
at 17:48:24

Disappointed to loose Mcauley as felt that him alongside a decent pacy centre half would have been very good. Not so sorry about Norris as although he scored a good number of goals this season he has nowhere near the quality on the ball required for a centre midfielder, just seems to run around a lot. Annoyed that we loose him for nothing though as we didn't get anything like decent value for money out of the 2.5m we paid for him. I honestly don't think we will miss him as much as some people seem to think we will.
