Changing manager every 18 months is not the answer. Things are very hard at the moment but I'm confident we won't go down. If we change manager we will start from scratch again.
If we stop conceding poor goals things will turn around quite quickly. Just need to sign the players we desperately need.

ME could afford to buy both Chopra and Fryatt if he wanted to without selling any players to raise funds. I think he is more concerned about the overall wage bill and since two players have left we are now seeing some movement into the club.
If we could get rid of Stead or Pablo it would free up wages for anothe striker to come in. |

Just got back from the game, yes we should have scored more and priskin had several chances but just looked very low on confidence. In the first half there didn' seem much between the two sides but second half we were dominant.
Kennedy look like he had played for us for years and settled in very well. It was a strong town side that should have scored more goals, but i still don't think you can read too much into a friendly.
We do need another striker for sure i just hope we get one in the nnext week! |

If we don't need the money (which as i understand we do not) then £10 million is not worth excepting. If he does score 15-20 goals this season that do get us promoted then he is worth so much more to us.
There is no garantee that he will score those goals and he may not live up to expectation but that's a gamble we need to take. Plus if we did sell and get the money to spend on other players there is no garantee that they would work out for us as we very well know with some of the decent money signings we have made that have flopped.
The team needs to ne built around him and how he plays and do everything we can to ensure he does live up the the hype that surounds him. I can't wait to see connor play a masssive part in our push for promotion this season! (i hope) |
