| News Comment | Breitenreiter: Changes But We Have to Remain Professional at 23:18:40
Met a coach load of Hudders fans on a stopover in St Albans Spoons on the way to their game at Watford. They were great young lads up for a fun day drinking huge cocktails smoking cigars and enjoying life. Liked them a lot and they will all be at PR enjoying the day and hopefully the ITFC result. |

I think liverpool fans do it for important games. Choose your own definition of important..but it doesn't seem to do any harm and they dobn’t get panned for it if they lose. Home atmosphere is an advantage in whatever form i guess so good on them for trying something. |
| News Comment | Blue Action Call For Lambert Exit at 11:18:11
We're rebuilding our club Our style of football is much much better We have lots of our youngsters coming through now, more than for a long time. We have a blueprint from the Academy up. One leaves another one comes along. It will take time and we might not get promoted this year. Does it really matter? I want to be a force in football again. I don't want to get promoted, buy more older players, and then get relegated again. We are really enjoying seeing the youngsters so it will take time. In 2-5 years we will start doing it again if we stick with the plan. If we change manager now he will try for immediate success and potentially break all the good work that is happening from the academy up just for a quick fix. No Change for me. |
| News Comment | Lambert: Evans is a Very Good Owner But We Have Running Battles at 14:28:00
Anyone else on here agree that we have some pretty good players, a pretty strong squad, strikers who have scored lots of goals for other clubs, some good players coming back, lots of emerging quality youngsters, a couple of decent loan signings and not too bad a league position. I hope so. FWIW I don't agree about lots of spending in January. Let's do even better with what we've got. The best managers would know how to do that. |
| News Comment | O'Neill on Lambert Press Conference: We All Get Frustrated at Times at 00:25:28
Everyone has lots of opinions about how easy or hard it is to run a football club and buy/sell players for the best value and I get that. We all want more and never think enough is being or has been done. What about the longer term thinking that we might not be aware of/privy to. We aren't experts and there's a fair chance that those running the club know a little more than us and have to manage the messages to keep us on side. Typically we don't like bad news, right? We don't like hearing we can't spend millions or even hundreds of thousands. For me, every game a journeyman signing plays is a game Dozzell or Lankester or Idris or Wolfenden doesn't play. And what happens? A year later we complain because we don't sell them for millions. I will take 3 signings if it means our youngsters will still play. What's the chances? |
| News Comment | Evans on Relegation, New Arrivals and the Promotion Challenge at 13:59:39
MEs investment in the academy is paying off. Thats a key place where i want the money to go, not journeymen transfers. Weve got a good and exciting squad at this level. Lets not get distracted, now is time for PL to show how good HE is. |
| News Comment | Fourth Sell-On Windfall for Blues as Moore Completes Wigan Move at 20:17:29
Im sure this goes against what most people want to see but what about believing in our team and our youngsters. As soon as we sign a right back, Emmanuel wont get a league game. As soon we sign a centre back Wolfenden wont either, nor will Ndaba. PL says Donacian is a centre back as well so that gives us 3 reserves to back up Nsiala and Chambers. And didnt Wolfenden do well on saturday. Plus Garbutt backing up Kenlock so thats 2 full backs each side. Same for Dozzell if we sign a midfielder. Plus what happens to Jack Lankester or Idris when we sign another attacking midfielder and this this is before we get Judge, Edwards, Norris, Bish back in the team. Didnt Danny Rowe and Garbutt look good. Yes give us a No 9 that is something different to what we have now maybe. But forget new players that will replace our youngsters. How are we going to raise our kids values unless they play? PL has lots of tools in this league, he now needs to show he can use them. |

Bluearmy 81. You make a bold statement about Villa. You may want to do a bit of research and find out what could have happened to them if they didnt get promoted this time. You might be surprised to learn that it isnt quite as rosy as you like to have us believe.... |
| News Comment | Season Ticket Total Over 11,000 at 00:21:35
Itfcsince73 19:51. So you will wait for lots of signings like we did last year....we all know thats the wrong thing. You cant control it so just support the lads |
| News Comment | Ipswich Town 1-1 Birmingham City - Match Report at 00:50:09
Dog. But you still need an owner. Someone who will put the money in. Someone has to show their face if you want to replace Evans. But no one is so how can administration help anyone? |
| News Comment | Boro Striker Gestede Linked With Blues Loan at 22:51:43
Someone said Gestede is a litmus test of whether ME would put up the cash. It's always the same old question but not quite sure why. Didn't he stump up for Walters? I'm guessing he was on bigger wages than Gestede or Murphy. I reckon he will do what it takes and get the best he can. He knows it's worth a punt given the consequences of relegation. |

Well done Evans. You saw what we saw and acted. No messing about. New manager straight away. Good or bad decision who knows but at least a quick one which was what we needed. |
