Just my opinion. We're not about to sign 25 players with PL experience (and I don't want to) but most of the current squad were playing in League One 18 months ago. It was KMc who got them so well drilled. |

He'd never admit it of course, but the realisation that we've got b*gger all chance of staying up next season if KMc leaves must weigh quite heavily too. |

100% but I don't think KMc wants or will get legendary status. The best we can hope for is one more season, so unless he stays and wins a cup next season he won't stay long enough to be up there with Ramsey, Robson and Burley. He will however be remembered for the remarkable job he did. |

Not good. Sounds like we could be left hanging for a while yet. Even if Man Utd sack ETH on Sunday, they will have their own process to follow, by which time we're into June before KMc leaves and we can make an approach for a new manager. |

If this story is true, what exactly does it mean? 1. I don't want to commit to ITFC beyond 2027 2. I want to keep my options open this summer or 3. I've been offered the Brighton/Chelsea/Man Utd job so am rejecting a new deal |

As much as I would like to see this happen as a supporter, I'm not sure the cost v benefit stacks up. Like the OP says, it wouldn't increase capacity. I think it's more likely that the club will offer a discount on all the RV seats in the back 6 rows. |
| Forum Reply | Ahhhhh!! at 14:27 22 May 2024
What's the alternative though? Kick someone else out of their seat to accommodate supporters based on length of time a season ticket has been held? Would get very messy and I'm not sure the ticket office would want the admin involved. |
| Forum Reply | IPSWICH have offered Kieran McKenna a blockbuster new contract at 13:58 22 May 2024
He's just earnt the club a minimum £180M incl. parachute payments. If he keeps us up next season it's worth at least another £115M. Plus he's increased the value of the playing squad by £££s. If anyone is worth £5M a year, KMc is. |

#bhafc on Twitter. Private jet travelling from Nice to Biggin Hill tomorrow morning according to Flightradar24. Let's hope Francesco Farioli is on his way. |

Existing press area in blocks Y and O has been replaced by RV seating. |

I know there is a team behind the team etc. But we could never have achieved PL status and the guaranteed £180M without KMc. I also don't believe we can survive the first season without him. Obviously there wil be other considerations for KMc like transfer budget etc, but when it comes to his own contract, why wouldn't we agree to match anything another club can offer? |
| Forum Reply | Saints winning tonight means we get an extra £5M next season at 05:33 18 May 2024
I think most of us agree this is wrong, but an extra £5M is still a lot of money to us when trying to navigate FFP. It could be the difference between us offering a 3 yr contract to a player KMc wants or not. Or being able to push the boat out for a loan signing next season (Omari!). I know this means we become part of the greed problem, but if we can't beat them, then after 22 years of being the victim I'm happy to join them. |
