Although Blackburn are not in great form themselves and I like to be as optimistic as possible but I honestly can't see us winning this, in previous seasons we've been awful away at Blackburn and in the form and go scoring draught that we are currently in I cannot see the situation changing. I'd love to see us play attacking football and really go for it but sadly that's not going to happen. |

Unbelievable to think MM actually thinks they're in good form. Bru always looked promising but since he's been here he's never performed. I think Skuse is a very decent player and would always have him in the team, Douglas however is a joke, technically awful on the ball, lacks any physicality and is shocking going forward and back. I honestly can't see where MM is coming from saying they are in good form, its a joke!
Connor Grant looked very decent the first few games of the season but hasn't been given a chance since? Obviously because he doesn't fit MM's style of just hoofing the ball up the pitch every chance you get. Furthermore Bishop should be starting by now, by far the best midfielder at the club and he's still on the bench every game because Mick is protecting him? He's been back long enough now to be fully fit surely? Even the likes of Dozzell should be getting a chance, a player with great potential who doesn't even get into our midfield must be worried. Wouldn't be surprised if he moved on soon.

Yet again another poor home performance. Although Brighton weren't at their best we still never looked like scoring.
We look clueless going forward and have no creativity in midfield. Douglas is pretty much non existent and has no impact on the game what so ever. Chambers, although playing in his preferred position, still looked poor and was always happy to just hoof the ball up the pitch. Would much rather see Bishop given a chance in the starting 11. Surely he's fit enough to be starting games now?
Only positive i can think of was the outstanding performance from Emmanuel. Looked like a proper right back and definitely deserves more chances. |
