Scotland is a very lazy striker and I can't see him getting on with Keane at all. Let's hope he gets off to a good start and scores on Saturday because he won't offer a lot else to the team.
If Stead was on 5k instead of 15k a week we would have kept him i'm sure.
We just need a RB and CM cover and that will probably be it as far as signings are concerned for now by the sounds of it. |

Word on the street here in Bristol is that Stead has now agreed personal terms but we won't let him go until we sign a replacement (Scotland and/or A.N.Other).
I think that is quite sensible as we only have one other striker but let's hope it does not hack City off too much and they then pull out of the deal.
Immensely frustrating times!

"Connor has a bad ankle injury and is nowhere near back, he's still in a medical boot"
That does not sound good. I thought that he might be back ahead of schedule as he is so young and strong but sounds like he could actually be out longer than expected.
Even more reason to get some forwards in asap. |

I think Keane will walk soon if he keeps getting players to come down that he wants to sign and SC/ME won't give them the deals they want.
I don't think anyone should lose any sleep if Fulop does not sign though. If money is tight then it could and should be used to strengthen the squad elsewhere. I think the two keepers we have showed last season that they are good enough for the championship and you can always get emergency loans for keepers if we have an injury crisis. |

I know a lot of Cardiff fans and most of them would be glad to get rid of Chopra. Very hit and miss this season and i think our money would be better spent elsewhere. He scored 8 goals in his first six games and 4 goals in one game against Derby at the end of September. Since then he has managed just seven goals - thats a good ratio of one a month! |

I think he will come back and be as good as he was before. The fact that he was slow anyway is a good thing as he didn't rely on his pace as a player and that's one of the things this type of injury can affect. If he only has one working leg he will still be better than Martin anyway! |
