Lambert says all the right things-but he hasn't set the world alight since Norwich! Keeping up his record of being relegated wherever he goes. We have to stick with him though as he has the experience in League 1. The concern about playing the youngsters though is that they have never been deemed strong enough for the championship & league 1 is more physical! It won't be a walk in the park to get out of that league. As for Evans, well the demise of the club since he took over speaks for itself. Never thought I'd see the day when we were in the 3rd division!! |

The only positive in this match was Bishop who in the first half actually looked like he could be a player again. Sadly in the second half before he was subbed I'd forgotten he was on the pitch!! Pretty much matches our performance every match-play ok in one half but never in two for the whole season! Nothing has changed since Lambert has taken over apart from going back to taking other clubs rejects! Sad times indeed. |

I think Evans has his perfect manager. He says all the right things, appreciates the fans but unfortunately doesn't play any better football or set up to attack at home. I know it was a bad refereeing decision that allowed them to score their goal but they missed 3 sitters & we didn't have a shot on target!! That was the last chance saloon & we never looked like winning!! Sad times indeed!! |

No surprise there! He was never going to give up his contract & walk away. He's now daring Evans to be a man & sack him. So sad when such arrogance is spoiling our great club. We can look forward now to average attendances of about 12,000 & perhaps one decent performance all season! We have some good young players but they'll never start under Mick-he has his favourites & as it now seems he's bigger than the club they've got no chance of playing & will leave. To all the Mick supporters saying how great a manager he is I would just ask one question. Pretty much every Championship club has replaced their manager this season & how many have made a serious effort to get Mick? I think that says it all about how great he is! The phrase 'a legend is in his own mind' has never been more apt! Evans stand up & be counted! |

Time to go now! Such a shock he dropped Emmanuel who looks like a proper footballer for Chambers who can't even do his fist pump anymore as we can't score a goal!! We won't do any better until we sort out the defence. Tommy Smith had his worst game for a long time & Knudsen is never impressive. No point mentioning Chambers as he will always be our right back! Bru has done absolutely nothing all season but is obviously one of Mick's favourites now-as is Sears who needs dropping for his own good! Hate to think what'll happen against Derby!! |

I hate to say it but the only questionable penalty was ours! The one we didn't get for elbow on Bishop was more of a penalty. As for Knudsen he is clueless! Ref was never going to let that go after just booking Berra! We were awful-why sign/bring in loan players & not play them? If not better than what we have then why sign them?? This is going to be a long season & more a case of avoiding relegation than going for playoffs! Need to find someone who wants to buy the club with some ambition or just get used to always being a mid table championship side. Sad times! |

I cannot believe anyone let alone a football manager can defend that challenge. He deliberately tried to hurt the player-obviously not to break his leg-obviously he won the ball as he went through him with both feet!!! If Hyam doesn't change his style he will end up at Colchester & never fulfill his potential as it's the same every game. Whenever he gets challenged late he hacks someone down & gets booked. McCarthy just keeps proving why he is not right for our club-that sort of attitude is not what our club is about!! Leave Mick whilst we all still appreciate what you've achieved with the team. |

Clueless performance yet again-awful team selection & for MM to think Hyam's tackle wasn't even worthy of a card & then for him to not have the decency to applaud the poor guy off the pitch really proves what sort of a person MM is! How he could leave him on when everyone knew he'd get himself sent off is beyond belief! Time he went-had the chance to push on in January but not interested in bringing anyone in. He's done well for us but time to move on. No chance next season unless a massive overhaul & investment as so many good well financed sides will be in the league! |

Yet another top 6 side we can't compete with-not even at home! Let's face it we are now in the league position we should be-how we can contemplate promotion when everyone knows the teams above us are better than us?! Had we strengthened in January when we were in a good position who knows, but now it is too late for this season. Nothing will change in the summer & let's be honest if we brought in a real flair player McCarthy would soon turn him into a hoof ball expert! Time for a change-manager & perhaps owner as well as seems he has no ambition whatsoever. Will still be cheering the team on-but realisation has set in. |
