| News Comment | FA Cup Replays Scrapped at 07:58:28
The West Ham replays, Liverpool away and Gavin Johnson scoring in front of the away end - Highlights of watching Ipswich for me. Given the performance of our 'top' teams in Europe this week maybe the decision will be reversed once there are only 2 Champions league places available for Micky mouse leagues |
| News Comment | Town Dismiss 400 Staff Tickets Claim at 16:41:44
I got in but would have been annoyed had I been in the top 1800 and not got a ticket because Fabio Wardley had decided to go and trumped my efforts by being 'famous' England publish the number of fans on e.g 40 games , 42 game etc- so you can see where you are in the merit points table and likelihood of getting a ticket - I suggest Ipswich do the same |
| News Comment | IBC Unveils Plans For Portman Road Aquatics Centre Development at 14:52:40
Ok its all pretend but That's a big new Cobbold Stand - roof higher than the current north Stand. Really hope that any new stand has some real architectural wow rather than the bland breeze block crud that has been thrown up at Southampton, Leicester, Doncaster, Middlesboro etc Put a Suffolk Punch Horse on top of the new stand like the Cockerel at Spurs Couldn't see the Sir Bobby Statue in the film |
| News Comment | Lunchtime Kick-Off at Norwich at 16:39:19
Where does this take us up to with Sky games being decided ? They must have spotted that they have the chance to bug&er up Middlesboro at home at 3 o'clock as well. Well we know the song and need to keep singing it. |
| News Comment | Clarke a Doubt, Moore and Sarmiento Train, But Williams Still Not Back at 17:15:20
Tuanzebe was decent at Stoke at RB I think he will play Wolfie played at RB at Crystal Palace in a cup game early in his career and looked decent - with his range of passing - Im surprised he hasn't played there again but I wouldn't mess with the Centre backs at this stage of the season. |
| News Comment | McKenna: Another Game We Feel We've Done Enough to Win at 15:49:47
Its a long time since we scored the first goal of the game in the league and against the better teams that means we will probably not win. Maybe keeping it a little tighter in the first 20-25 would not be a disaster - the first goal doesn't happen if Clarke doesn't change his mind - Ok lots to be done after Fellows gets the ball and Wolfie should stop it but we are conceding far to many break away goals and not scoring them. Not complaints about McKenna - the team if often outperforming its collective ability - and with a run of games coming up that feels simpler I'm optimistic about results improving |
| News Comment | Corberán: We Knew We Would Have to Defend a Lot and Protect Our Lead at 15:36:52
2 things that Var needs to stop- Time wasting and falling over when there ia nothing wrong with you. 2 minutes West Brom took to celebrate their first goal - ref did nothing. Good team - WBA- would be better if they tried playing football for 90 minutes |
| News Comment | Head of Recruitment Linked With Former Club at 11:09:24
NB138 It's a miracle how McCarthy got a tune out of The Mauritian Messi and Jordan Spence for 2 seasons. 6/10 performances from 3/10 players It haunts me how cr@p we were - Dark Dark Days. |
| News Comment | Town Confirm Moore Loan Signing at 20:41:09
Who is the guy to the right of Moore Of all the days to 'spoil' your trousers and only C and A is open selling whatever colour those are in your size. An American I presume |
| News Comment | Striker Remains Priority For Town on Deadline Day at 10:26:33
Kieffer Moore improves us- proven goalscorer, hard worker, knows the division. Maybe costly but who knows when we will be in this position again Deregistering Aluko makes sense - he was some way off Maidstone's pace on Saturday |
| News Comment | Charlton Confirm Ladapo Loan Move at 20:37:28
If Jackson gets chances where he only has 0.4 to 0.6 seconds to react think and shoot (Sunderland) he will get 20 before the end of the season - anything outside that sweet-spot and he'll get 2. I fancy us getting Moore- proven at this level and he will run the channels - get a big elbow in Coady's ribs on Monday and bag a winner- anyone wavering about going to Leicester get your ticket now! |
| News Comment | McKenna Tight-Lipped on Gallagher Link at 16:05:14
Saw him in Blackburns 8-0 annihilation of Harrogate earlier this year. Against 2 very poor centre backs he's definitely a handful, seemed quick for a big man, strong, good hold up play and touch. No idea what he is like against better opposition but left the match worried about how good Blackburn must be if he was playing for the reserves. |
