"Meanwhile, Sky Sports are reporting that Rotherham have turned down three bids for Ward with the latest offer just under £2 million. If that report is correct then that would almost certainly rule Town out of the running." What I find depressing about this is whats happened to the money we've received for Mings and Murphy? Surely even with the free's and loans, Pitman and Ward etc it can't all be gone. I don't want to be a club that goes out and spend millions and millions because there's lots of examples that doesn't work but I don't hold out much hope if we can't even bid 2 million. It shows a complete lack of ambition. |
